  1. Manchester United ‏@ManUtd 5 min BREAKING: Manchester United announces that David Moyes has left the club. (part 1 of 2) #mufc
  2. He's on twitter, ask him: @VuckicHari29
  3. Raphael Honigstein ‏@honigstein 3 tim Very obvious what game is being played here by Man Utd. They want Moyes to resign, for $ reasons. Shabby way to do it, imo.
  4. While I agree he wouldn't be an exciting choice, Moyes strikes me as an honest, hard-working man and manager. I'd have him at Newcastle, no doubt whatsoever.
  5. Don't know why, but I have a feeling he's finished and he knows it. It might just be self-deception in order to keep my sanity, mind.
  6. They weren't at Stoke. That wasn't at St James' Park though. We have some special rules against banners? Unless it's a political message it can't be confiscated, surely?
  7. Fat Mike certainly picked the right club to buy. Who else would fill a 52.000 capacity stadium playing like this?
  8. So this is fabricated then? "He wears the famous No.9 shirt and it wears well on him."
  9. Last one for me. “The most important thing for this group is that there’s a recognition that when you don’t do the job correctly, that it must be done correctly.” He's so fucking stupid.
  10. Loved Baggio. Dugarry was shit, a striker who didn't score.
  11. That last one I went to Statto and used their "custom table" to look at all games since 01/01/14. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2013-2014/custom-table You can do that for all 4 leagues on there. Copied and pasted the "for" column into a spreadie and uncle Bob the tranny's your auntie. Also use... http://www.soccerbase.com/teams/home.sd http://www.whoscored.com/Teams/23 http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ http://www.rsssf.com/histdom.html http://www.11v11.com/teams/newcastle-united/tab/matches http://stats.football365.co.uk/ Cheers. Shocking news though.

  16. The Shields Gazette: Pardew ready to play three-man defence again for Newcastle NEWCASTLE United boss Alan Pardew could again play three at the back – as he feels the club is “overloaded” with centre-halves. Pardew fielded Fabricio Coloccini, Mike Williamson, pictured, and Steven Taylor against Stoke City last weekend in a surprise move. Newcastle had conceded 11 goals in their three previous Premier League games. And Pardew – who used Paul Dummett and Vurnon Anita was wing-backs – felt the ploy, for the most part, worked at the Britannia Stadium, where United were undone by a misdirected cross from Erik Pieters. Pardew is assessing his options for Saturday’s Premier League home game against Swansea City, for which right-back Mathieu Debuchy could be fit after a six-game absence. “I tried to play three and have a look at it, and we did a really good job,” Pardew told the Gazette. “I thought we had a good base to the game in terms of how we were set up. “We’re obviously overloaded with quality centre-backs. “It’s something I’m looking at as we have Colo, Tayls, Mapou (Yanga-Mbiwa) and Willo.” Injury-hit Pardew – who also hopes to have leading scorer Loic Remy back – must find a way to win with the players he has available. Travelling fans chanted for the 52-year-old to be sacked at the Britannia Stadium for the first time, and the home crowd could on him turn if things go against them against Swansea. “As far as I’m concerned, we have to get a system that works for us with the players we have available,” he said. “We’ve got 10 senior players missing – that’s a problem.” United are ninth in the table with four games left to play. Meanwhile, midfielder Moussa Sissoko – who has a hamstring problem – could be fit for the visit to Arsenal on April 28, having tweeted that he will be “back soon”. Sissoko suffered the injury in the club’s 4-0 defeat to Southampton late last month.
