In Trippier' defence, and the rest of our defence too, there was no good off the ball movement from the midfield. France were pressing high and our players were just static offering no options for passes.
I think it's fair to say that the USA played well whilst at the same time acknowledging we were shit and were to content to sit back and show no desire to go for the win.
