Nice one. I looked earlier this week and it had it raining for basically exactly when we would be playing and no other point in the day.

I don't think I've even so much as broken into a jog since the last RvB match. Going to make full use of the subs available this time.

That's one thing I'm liking about him off the bench. In games when there's been little in the way of chances he'll at the very least have a shot or two.

I think the space he can create round the back of the defence just by dancing on the edge of the box is brilliant and with anyone other than BDB (or Dummett) playing LB we'd be seeing a fuck load more dangerous crosses going into the box from the left.

Underrated part of his game.

Same here for the Blackburn one. I was right up in the top corner of the Gallowgate so when he was dribbling into the box he was heading right towards me. As you say, I think the whole stand was shouting for him to pass and it felt like he was weaving from side to side for about an hour before he finally let the shot rip.

I've tried to word this to people since he first came in at LB. Most of the time he doesn't look good... but at the same time nobody ever seems to punish him and he doesn't make any obvious mistakes. Hard to argue against his record.

That's my main issue with all of them. Back when True Geordie first started getting a bit of traction for just ranting about how shite we were I watched a couple and it was just the same hot takes that were being posted on toon subreddit. Nothing to back these statements up and half of them had probably not even watched the match. The way it worked over there was as soon as one opinion got a little bit of interest everyone just started parroting it or joking about it to try and farm imaginary internet points. They're just repeating the popular opinions hoping enough people agree with them and assume they're smart.

That's why On The Continent is the best thing they do by a mile. Even if Dotun tries to ruin it by asking for pointless food recommendations every week.
