  1. Would that that were true. He's got very poor mobility, cannot read the game at all. Even at the £2m we paid for him, we've been sold an enormous pup. He looks like a £200,000 player. Always looked bright and energetic in the limited games I've seen him playing at SJP, didn't take a genius to work out this was liable to be a p*ss poor signing like. Berbatov was ahead of him at ASM. My mistake for lack of clarity - by poor mobility, I mean he runs about a fair bit, but into the wrong areas, and there's not even the merest hint of a 'football brain' there.

  3. Perez will be off soon so we'll get to see if you're right. Personally, I think he looks utter gash.
  4. If the club don't release fees, then how would we know how much we spent in the summer?
  5. I think NUFC's motivation for massively inflating transfer fees is significantly stronger. Plus they have countless previous for lying. It's like Bendy Wendy is on a sponsored lie or something.
  6. Are the figures quoted total fees including all potential add ons Not sure about the Cabella figure (though where you'd work £7m of add-ons into that deal is a mystery) but the Riviere figure is a one-off payment, thanks for doing business, cheerio. Monaco must be pissing themselves at getting even £2m for him. There's better strikers at Hibs and Hearts (both 2nd tier teams, of course) that cost nowt.
  7. Email conversation between myself and a French journalist friend of mine who works for France Football and others. Tells me that NUFC paid Monaco €2.5m (£1.95m) for the dubious services of Riviere. That's still ten times what he looks to be worth, but the £6.5m figure the club released is yet another lie. The Cabella fee quoted by the club was also more than double what we actually paid for him. So our net spend in the summer wasn't just zero, it was significantly less than zero. Quelle Surprise.
  8. It should actually be a profit of nearer 60 million if you add the extra 50 to the 10 million profit we made the year before, assuming all else being equal. All in that f***ing fat slug's bank account, along with the wonga and merchandising money. Never to be see again. Net profit on transfers in the summer, also, despite this 'Newcastle spend big on nine new players bollocks'; if you seriously think the amounts paid for Riviere and Cabella were £6.5m and £12m then you need your head looked at. None of that has anything to do with our next accounts though. As for the rest if he has took that money out then it will be shown against his loan, not that i think it will be. You think he can't hide that money? Any of our money he steals from the club in exchange for dud performances? I have no idea why anyone goes anymore. Hurt to give up my ST of 20 years but, my God, it has been liberating.
  9. That's what I'm thinking. £40million per season and he's paid back in 3 years. I can't see him leaving any profits to be taxed. More profitable to have his profits taxed and hang around than just split with SKY handing out £100m cheques annually. Look at the state of SJP for one thing - it's like that for a reason. Also wonga, also SD taking all the merchandise. Don't think he's going anywhere.

All in that fucking fat slug's bank account, along with the wonga and merchandising money. Never to be see again. 11. Net spend was negative. I refuse to believe we spent £6.5 on Riviere and £12m on Cabella - these figures were for the Press'/fans' consumption.
  12. Positioning for the third was conference standard at best.
  13. Like I said, the bookies haven't a clue. The decision has been made. de Boer would never work for a c*** like Ashley anyhow and, yes, I do know the former. Righto. Indeed. I scooped The Independent, who are claiming an 'exclusive'...
  14. Certainly not when Coloccini is appointed.
  15. Jabba's going nowhere. There's £100m headed his way in May.
  16. Like I said, the bookies haven't a clue. The decision has been made. de Boer would never work for a cunt like Ashley anyhow and, yes, I do know the former.
  17. Does he speak English yet? Does it fucking matter with that fat slug in charge? This, if true, is probably just another one of his japes to piss us off.
  18. Shall we say, a 'source close to the club'. In from 50/1 to 9/1. Had a wee punt. I mean, you can get 8/1 on McCoist so it's clear the bookies haven't a fucking clue.
  19. Don't party too hard - it'll exacerbate your hangover when the new manager is revealed.
  20. I hope to god we don't 'want to win this one too much' or we'll be in real trouble.
  21. He's not going to last long I don't think. He talk shit, makes unfunny jokes, sounds nasal, etc. Being as objective as possible, he's just a shit commentator.
  22. Gonna have a long wait and I wonder what sort of nick the club will be in when he does go - because as long as Jabba is the owner, Pardew is the manager.
  23. Not fascist enough. How many fucking eagles do you want?
