he's taken 2 replays to get past 2 absolute shite teams man can't think of us ever having such a favourable draw in the cup and we still struggled Aye, Benitez's well drilled defence conceded 4 goals against those lower league sides. Just wondering if that's Benitez' fault or Bruces Exactly we weren't exactly class in the cups under Rafa, we lost to Oxford, Forest (twice), Watford, Hull etc. This year draw has been easier, but we still had to get through.

Stats, they help you analyse football based on more than just a hunch. Agree with your second point though, it's not really a debate. If the takeover goes through, he'll be gone soon enough. It's not a hunch that Bruce has done a decent enough job here. It's also not a hunch that he's achieved FUCK ALL in his entire managerial career and will always be an Ashley shill. Fuck off Steve. Again I'll say it: 12 home goals conceded. Joint best in league. You're going to pick up points with a home defence like that (take out Leicester and it's 9 goals conceded in 14 games man - that's class). Football hasn't been great to watch for most of the season, but we've never been in any serious trouble. We picked up wins when we needed them. Bruce goes at end of season, and I would delighted with Poch/takeover and new chapter. He won't stay but he doesn't deserve disrespect.

He will be let go at the end of the season with a nice payout and I will wish him well.
