Grealish terrible, others mention Doku/Savinho, Walker struggling, Rico Lewis looks like he has no place in the team, don't get me wrong he's a nice player, but there's no real position he can make a real claim for, definitely not good enough or disciplined enough to play fullback, and although he often finds himself in midfield, he isn't of the calibre to make a claim on a midfield spot. Its tough on City right now, they're looking like they need to spend.

Callum once played over 30 games for us and scored 18 goals. It's a nightmare what's happening to him. Feel sorry for him, but the club can't keep carrying him.

Kevin Zenon, release clause seems fairly low rumoured 17m. Plays multiple positions.

Sven Botman: Out for up to 8 weeks after minor Knee operation (Howe)

We think that, but Burn always seems to be untouchable. -

I hope this doesn't mean Hall loses his spot so Burn can go back to the left, that would be mental. -
Impossible, Eddie has chosen this way, the harmony was probably working before with the core English lads, but including Bruno in that, but one can only assume, the former leadership of Tripps,Wilson,Lascelles,Burn, perhaps the fact those three could be sold sooner rather than later influenced his choice. My opinion for what it's worth, means Bruno is captain unless Howe left, he's not at all bad at the the role, but perhaps he demanded it, rather than earned it? Assuming his team put that forward in contract talks. Tbh though, I've no idea though, based on assumption.

Trippier was a miles better leader, that's not taking anything at all away from Bruno, but Bruno is the guy who rallies up the crowd with his personality, for leadership and talking on the pitch Tripps was always in peoples ears, did it with us and with England, Bruno is about moments, you rarely see him rallying the troops on the pitch, talking, pointing to players where to be, motivating and mentoring.

Info from: https://m.aiscore.com/salary/team-newcastle-united-2j374oiy4nirqo6 Can someone please explain why Lloyd Kelly is allegedly on 150k pw ? This is more likely what Paul Mitchel could have been eluding to regarding our business being daft, tripling his salary because he's a free agent, ridiculous if true, ive looked around online many sources claim it is possible.

Ratcliffe is the worst thing that's happened to that club, worse than the Glazers. He'll destroy them. -

Where's @Froggy to explain. Page 206 is a good read, couldn't be bothered to go further back. -
Looking at the league table though regardless of how shit we play, it's a joke, nobody in the entire UK would have believed you, if you'd say, by December, Man City would be fourth, with Notts Forest 2pts behind them. This season is turning out to be the season where anyone beats anyone, it's been bizarre, things aren't going great for us, but they're not for a lot of teams. Man City, Spurs, Man Utd, Villa, West Ham, there's only Chelsea who've stepped up this season and granted the amount they've thrown about. I'm beginning to wonder if the PSR thing is actually playing its part now, with sides like Fulham, Forest, Brighton, and Bournemouth pushing, with big clubs afraid to spend.
-
He'll fight to bring in Pochetino, Then when Staveley gets her feet in at Spurs, she'll go back for Eddie. Just a theory.
-
Definitely feel this, although Bruno is a brilliant character, he's not the leader. The group of Lascelles,Trippier, Wilson, Burn, they were the core group who everyone was looking up to when they arrived. Trippier was a brilliant captain during the early period. The fact none of us truly know what's gone on in his private life, the fact he's looked to get away perhaps forced the manager into a change of heart, Bruno is certainly the leader on the pitch while orchestrating what we do, but I'm not sure for captaining.
-
Good first half, car crash second. Throw anyone on when behind regardless and see what might happen attitude.
-
We seemed to change what we're doing to accommodate Gordon, fist half I was quite satisfied, second half we've forced Barnes out to the right, he's then not affecting the game and is hauled off for Miggy, at this point Howe has now used every winger while also introduces Wilson into the game and keeping Isak on? We could simply have left Barnes on the left introducing Wilson, for Murphy, and instructed Isak to play and cut in from the right, didn't understand complications using everyone, and I've said it before, it seems Gordon has priority where Eddie's choices are made, it's bizarre, because he's playing average all season, and has become lazy out of possession.
-
Impressed with what I've seen, good to see we're the side pushing to get the ball in the box, two obvious cheap balls from both Schar and Barnes causing concern, but if we eliminate those silly little errors, we look the stronger side. Nice that Barnes was able to redeem his earlier error, I'd just keep pushing them, they'll break, because they concede quite a few. More of what we've been doing please.

They're good at home were shit away, Not confident. -
Good game for watching etc, But we had so many clear cut chances to kill that game, could easily have had 5 if we had been clinical. For me there's still something missing, if Botman was back, and they solve the right mid problem that might be it, but I'm not sure if its something more than just RW, if we do get a right winger, it needs to be a really top tier or elite as they put it, can't just be another player to rotate around.
