Yedlin is still only 23 like, plenty of room to improve especially under the great man Rafa. He's had a good year with us, I've been really impressed with him and he looks like he'd be fine next season. RB is probably one of the least important purchases we need to make this season like, plenty of more pressing issues.

Because I'm trying to kill the last few minutes at work... Intrigued to know what people view as our "performance of the season". This is the best all-round performance of the season, from start to finish. I've only included our wins, because I don't think any of the draws/losses were very well received I personally think Huddersfield (a). They were in-form, desperate to win and we completely controlled the game from start to finish. They were restricted to long range shots and didn't look like scoring (other than that dodgy pen). Notable mention for QPR (a), Leeds (a), Birmingham (h).

Just had a read through VillaTalk and it made me appreciate this man even more. Imagine being in their position man A whole summer to look forward to more Championship football under the stewardship of Steve Bruce.

He and Yedlin absolutely tore their LB to pieces. I'm a fan of his and have been all season. Would sign him up without a shadow of a doubt, £6m is a snip.

All season there have been empty seats in L7 Leazes Corner for sold out games. It's too coincidental for them just to be ST holders not turning up, it's not one or two tickets either, it's a hundred or so. It's frustrating, especially when there are fans on here desperate for tickets.

Regardless of what it says, it's just a totally wank idea and should be stopped.

Such a likeable character. The rumours that he went off in a sulk and that's why he was frozen out are almost unbelievable. He looks like a great player at times, but others (Wolves at home and a fair few games last season) he looks pap. Looking forward to seeing how he develops with us/Rafa though.

Why does it seem like the play off games are shittily organised this year? Are the semi's always played on the same day? I'm sure they used to be on separate days so you could watch them both? Or maybe I made that up.
