  1. But the reason they are criticised is because the return to normality has happened because they didn't take advantage of last season. Spunked away a substantial amount of money last season on average players. They had an opportunity to buy players that otherwise they'd never have been able to attract due to playing in the CL. Similar to us finishing 5th, we didn't build on it either. The only player they didn't hold on to was Kante and that was his own decision. League title or not, they're still Leicester, they could have bought better players, but then what do you do with the team that won you the title? Adding one or two is fine, but replacing any of the back four, Vardy and Mahrez would be upsetting the chemistry that got them there. As it happened, they bought players that are still much better than they could have expected imo. They were never going to expand upon last season, the whole thing was a miracle, not a plan. Its not just about holding onto players, it's to do with buying in better quality. Nobody needed to tell them that 90% of their squad were playing way above their stations. They should have bought better players than the likes of Huth, Morgan, Simpson, Drinkwater, Albrighton and improved on what they had. Whether or not it was a miracle or not, there are loads of players that they could have bought which would have improved their team and given them every opportunity to be knocking onto EL qualification this season and establishing themselves as a PL team rather than fighting relegation. I just don't understand how you can expect a team to do what you're expecting. Hold on to it's best players. Which they did apart from Kante. Dismantle the defense/team that kept 15 clean sheets last season, regardless of what you think of the quality of the players. Improve on Drinkwater, who was excellent last season and has looked like one of their best when I've seen them this season. Who are the players they could have signed to improve their team that they could have realistically signed? This is why you were voted as one of the worst posters on here, you're just clueless and pick random arguments that you talk total s*** about. See ponsaelius' post a few up. I was wondering when this sort of under-the-belt nonsense would rear it's head. We're having a conversation, I'm asking you perfectly reasonable questions without any malice whatsoever and this is the road you take it down. Proper cheap. http://www.samaritans.org/ It's a f***ing poll on a forum ffs man. Wew, mint craic. Aye so eh, why use it as your argument to discredit my points if it means nothing? Anyway, I CBA, I thought we were just talking about it, there was no animosity on my part so I'm not sure how it was worthy of your posts that have followed like. I had answered all of your earlier points, not my fault if you choose to ignore them and play the victim about a daft poll.

You weren't voted for worst poster because nobody remembers you Ouch - that really upsets me. I'm not remembered on an internet forum, oh no. I did get 1 nomination fwiw. Yay.
  3. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. £12m and you get this.
  4. They'll never go down, not a chance. They are playing bad but there are 5 or 6 teams a lot worse than them who will finish below them.
  5. He was in Newcastle to sign for KK but then Ashley went nah, I know loads about football me. Was this when he went to Spurs? I still have nightmares about our long drawn out pursuit of Arda Turan Then he went to the Euros(?) had a stormer and went elsewhere.

  7. KI's world class Morgan giving away a pen after his early reprieved own goal.

Improve on Drinkwater, who was excellent last season and has looked like one of their best when I've seen them this season. Who are the players they could have signed to improve their team that they could have realistically signed? I'll answer your points though. 1. I've already said, it's not just about holding onto your best players. 2. Simpson, Huth and Morgan are very average players (lower PL/upper Championship) and Leicester knew that. They were also part of the Leicester defence that nearly got relegated the season before. These are players who played out of their skin for one season and were incredible. However, Mike Williamson also did that for us when we finished 5th. Doesn't stop them being turd and need improving on. 3. See the above but change the names to Drinkwater. In relation to signings one obvious example from todays game... Would Van Dijk have moved for CL football? Probably. Would he be a vast improvement to the team? Yes.

  10. Linesman saving Leicester there, never offside.
  11. Nobody is ridiculing them for not winning the league ffs, they are being ridiculed for fighting relegation when they should have built on last season and established themselves as a PL team.

  13. Reported annual salary of £1.5m which works out to be just under £30k a week. Obviously he'll have appearance/goal/every other bonus on top of that too.
  14. Apart from the cross which should have led to a goal...... Yeah, that's about it. Aye, one potential assist is not good enough in the 26 minutes he was on the pitch.
  15. Meh. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not - only Burke will know his intentions. I just think it was a daft move from the outset and he'd surely have been given assurances of his playing time when he made the move. He hasn't been a starter from day one so it shouldn't be a shock to him. At least he tried to move abroad, which others haven't.

  17. Matt Phillips who is probably a comparable signing/player, is on much less at WBA. Edit - I'm working off of reported figures, so they may be wrong. But I just doubt that he moved to Leipzig for footballing reasons.
  18. I'd be quite interested to see us go like this for a couple of matches against the lesser clubs in the league at home. Just to mix it up a bit and try to do something different. Clark is easily capable of filling the gap Lazaar would leave when getting forward, not sure about Hanley mind. Gayle Gouf Ritchie Hayden Shelvey Lazaar Yedlin Clark Lascelles Hanley Darlow
  19. He's on a reported £30k a week plus bonuses man He'd not be on anywhere near that at any of the other clubs.
  20. Went to Leipzig because he thought he wouldn't get a game for the other teams that wanted him anarl. Unlucky chap B£t h£ w£nt th£r£ to g£t a gam£. He'd have played every week at somewhere like Boro, Watford, WBA, mackems etc. He didn't go to Leipzig to play football man.
  21. It's only because we have so much of the ball that he looks bad in this division. He'd look a really good defender for most teams at this level IMO How many times has the ball been played inside him/over the top of him this season because he is so badly positioned? It's not just his attacking/ball play, his defending is just as gash. He makes a good tackle every now and again but so did Mike Williamson.
  22. Demari Gray hates playing in a team doesn't he.
  23. They're only playing at the level that they should be to be fair. The squad is nothing more than a bottom half team and that's where they are. Flash in the pan season and everyone automatically thinks they are better than they are. Vardy's goalscoring record other than last season suggests he's not that great, for example.
