  1. Wasn't that rumour just made up by someone on here? Has waned to sign him since his Liverpool days, and apparently made an enquiry this Jan too. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/06/finally-rafa-benitez-has-been-trying-to-sign-everton-ace-deulofe/ HITC are about as reliable as The Mag.

  3. If you want a ticket for this, be quick - very close to sold out. Doubt it'll even last until the morning.
  4. I think he was referring to the fact that you could have sold him for much more money last season, but hung onto him for little reward (paying his wages to do nothing apart from be a negative influence and then a lower transfer fee).
  5. Why would you want to see the players stood in the tunnel? Unless you're under 12 that is incredibly sad. It's not like a meet and greet situation, you literally just stand behind the glass looking at them.
  6. c*** never learns if it's true he's refusing to release funds until we're back in the prem. We spent a lot of money on squad & backup players in the summer, now we can't afford first teamers who'll make a difference in the title race. I think funds will be released for the right deal, but I don't think the club is particularly trying to find that deal, more waiting for it to land at their doorsteps and have a nibble. We didn't spend a lot in the summer though. We made a £30 mil profit !! It's not as simple as that though, we've been relegated and taking huge losses on income while outcome stays the same. When you factor we sell in instalments and buy up front, signing on fees, player % of sales etc...it's clearly not £30m profit. The outgoings don't stay the same because we sold players on extremely high wages whilst bringing in players on much lower wages. We're also bringing in more matchday income due to having more supporters through the door, factor in the extra income we've also received from the cup matches we've played at home in comparison to last season. Ticket sales and the retail sales. We'll have also have sold more club shirts this season as the design is less shit and kids don't have the Wonga logo anymore. Also the player sales, parachute payments etc. etc. It's not as simple as you're making out, whilst we are definitely worse off in this position it is nowhere near as bad as you're making out.
  7. I'll not bother, like I don't for any other.
  8. It's not often you write a post that isn't full of shit, but this is definitely one of them. Agree with that in full.
  9. Why are they surprised? Moyes is just reiterating what he's already said. It's their own stupid fault for believing made up stories in the press about fictitious bids
  10. If true, i'd say the Mirror's article today has decreased the chance's of it happening. If they're not willing to loan him out, I can't see us willing to pay £13m for him. Not in this window anyways. Why not? We'd be willing to spend whatever it takes to get back up imo. Townsend would increase the already high chances of us going up and could easily transition and play for us next season.
  11. Keeping in mind that we play Oxford and Lincoln in the fourth round, it's highly likely that one of us (or maybe both) will reach the fifth round (which would also mean our game v Villa is moved). Would only need one of us to go to a replay. It's fair enough to assume that game will probably be moved again like.
  12. Brighton game rescheduled for the 28th February. However, don't book travel just yet! Absolute farce.
  13. Only playing because Zaha is in Africa. Plus they've just signed Schlupp who is another winger ahead of him.
  14. 1,800 allocation. 120+ points required. Cue the loyalty point meltdown.
  15. Just when they couldn't get much worse. A pat on the back and "Mag at..." story rolled into one. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/mag-at-work-i-know-i-know.1320803/ Double whammy.
  16. Oxford are already selling tickets for this. It's nearly sold out. The away section will be one side of the North Stand (running alongside the pitch). Anyone have any idea how many seats that equates to? The whole stand is approximately 5,000 so my best guess is 2,000-2,500.
  17. Two. Technically aye, but he made the first with a fantastic through ball anyway. Aye, I knew what you meant. In his absence I just fancied taking the arsehole role that Joey usually takes.
  18. Norwich have just replaced J Murphy with J Murphy.
  19. It's alright I just get so upset if the mackems think we've got no fans.
