What a ridiculous statement. May as well just never enter any cup competition ever then. Wolves beat Liverpool away from home today. -

Mitro and Lascelles apparently apologising to the (very few remaining) fans. -

Those that are there suggesting that the scoreline is a fair reflection the 2nd half, totally outclassed by a League One team. -

The team sent out today was more than good enough to win this game. An utterly embarrassing performance though and those on the pitch have done nothing to suggest that their game time should be increased. -

It may be a weak NUFC side, but it's still more than good enough to win this game. -
Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

On the plus side, it's kept Forest further behind us. -
The fact that nobody can agree after about 10 replays of the incident in slow motion, shows what a tough call that was for the ref. The theatrical dive probably stopped him getting it. Thoroughly deserved for Southampton, great scenes. Puel looked like he was going to burst into tears.

Darren Gibson is 29 and has only started 67 competitive matches (RTG quote so facts may not be accurate, but seem it). Another crock to add to their collection Only played 888 minutes of football in the last four seasons. That's the equivalent of just over two games a season These signings are horrific.

Huddersfield v Brighton next.

Very likely that we're going to end up in the playoffs now.

Where? Not what I've seen and heard. They think he's utter s****. https://thejack.army/threads/barrow-for-ayew.13188/ Have you read that? So maybe two of them think he's fast and has potential. Have you? Without venturing off of the first page, there is at least 5 out of about 7 people saying he has talent/potential.

Still think it's fair to judge of the opinions of fans who have watched him the last year or so tbh. Just ask Palace fans about Pardew. From the thread on a Swansea forum I read yesterday, they all think he has great potential but needs managing well. What a perfect manager to have to guide him in Rafa. So not sure why the people on here who have watched him very infrequently should have such a stronger opinion than those who watch him every week.
-
Maybe we should do something really unusual abd judge a player based on his performances for us, rather than speculating about how shit they are first. Clark was getting similar reviews when we signed him, he's been one of our best players this season.
-
Swansea fans really rate him fwiw.
-
A left back that was moved to be a winger because his defending was suspect. Leicester fans seem to think he was dogshit in both positions, fwiw.

Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
We've not signed a single player that we've been "linked" with yet. We've been linked with 17 different players so far. Maybe, just maybe... the press are just speculating/guessing/making things up and trying to earn money. Rafa said at the start of the window that he wants to sign players who can make the step up next year, the only plausible link that fits that bill is Townsend - the complications in that deal could be down to anything (Palace asking for too much to recoup some of their silly spending, for example). The lack of signings is probably down to the lack of suitable players who fit that bill, are available to move and want to play in the Championship for 5 months. So many people bedwetting over nothing. The "crisis" of Ashley interfering is so bad that Rafa is continuing in his job. Like KK, Rafa would be straight out of the door if he was being undermined. -
I'd be amazed if £12m can buy you two players who are willing to go to Sunderland and yet good enough to keep them up. And that Sunderland know about. Absolutely no chance. It's £9m with add-ons up to £12m, so they will only have £9m to pump back in on new players as they cannot be assured of the £3m.

Quite possibly just a scare tactic against Palace, similar to Marseille saying that they were no longer interested in Payet a week ago. -

General consensus on a Swansea forum is that Barrow has great potential but a questionable attitude. https://thejack.army/threads/barrow-for-ayew.13188/ He was linked in a swap deal with Ayew at Villa yesterday. -
Literally forgot Markovic existed Cant believe he's still on Liverpool's books, when was his last appearance for them?

Joey loves recycling a joke I did it ages ago: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,97048.msg5741292.html#msg5741292 Cheers for trying to make it look like I copied it though Wasn't on about copying it, was on about recycling it (using the same joke more than once). Cheers for adding to my point though Anyway, Barrow has been crap every time I've seen him play. Wouldn't exactly be excited by signing him. Don't Swansea fans think he's s**** too?
