Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
Because as one of the top teams in Germany, they could be confident they could replace him with someone of equal or better quality. As we're lingering in the second division in England, this would be a brilliant signing - especially when you look at our other options in comparison to our rivals in this league. -

Which leagues are way better than this one? Bundesliga, it assume. Although apparently his record is inconsistent at Wolfsburg, so the jury is out. He also scored 32 in 34 at Heerenveen, and i'd say Eredivisie is on par with the Championship. 36 goals in 80 games for Wolfsburg is inconsistent? Pretty much 1 in 2, what does he need to do - score in every game? -

Which leagues are way better than this one? The Eredivisie & Bundesliga where he has scored his goals, are both significantly better than the Championship. -

Why are people unconvinced by his guy? He's scored goals in leagues way better than this one. -
Watmore is terrible That Gooch had an okay game against a newly promoted club, hardly enough to claim he is an exciting talent. They need to bring in at least 3 or 4 good players or they are in deep shit.

Cannot wait for Rafa to say we couldn't get this one 'over the line'. -
Rafa saying that Mitro 'gives us something different' suggests to me that he'll be an alternative to Gayle rather than playing alongside him. Hope I'm wrong though.

Looks like he's put a little bit of pudding on.

The problem isn't having athletics played in a football stadium, the problem is having football played in an athletics stadium. The ground is not fit for football, it is only being used for football at the moment as West Ham saw a very cheap way of increasing their capacity. West Ham fans will now suffer watching football from a large distance away from the pitch in a terrible stadium with no atmosphere at all. Use the Olympic Stadium for rugby, american football or whatever. But not football.

Imagine being paid to write some guff on a footballers' twitter page. What an easy job, can imagine they get a fair whack too.

They've probably stopped giving free tickets to kids now they don't have to feed Johnson.

 Didn't realise Villa were going in for Aguero? That clown really needs to stay away from football, thankfully I think he'll ruin Villa which will be excellent.
-
They're English! They are basically exempt from criticism. Too many forrin managers coming over here and taking our jobs.
-
Level with Leicester who have a 32k capacity stadium

Don't forget that ours was a Tuesday night and theirs was a Sunday afternoon. Also factor into it the fact that Reading bought 550 and Boro took 2,500. Yet our support is embarrassing...

Aye, he's doing much better than I expected. His touch and finish yesterday were excellent, his free kick was special too. -

He's scored 4 goals like, but if we judge him the same way that people judge Mitro... 1 was a penalty (rebound) and another was a tap-in and we know from Mitro's stats that people don't count them. So he's only scored 2. He's crap - get rid. -
Man City already have away fans in the lower tier. The whole allocation doesnt need to be in the lower, just a portion of it.
-
He scored a fair amount of goals in an absolutely useless team who had a donkey in charge for most of the season. Will delay total judgement on him until I've seen him this year.

Those sat near the dugouts are miles away from the pitch Like moving the Gallowgate to where the Strawberry is.

Turn Marseille on BT Sports and as soon as it comes on the commentators are slating Thauvin for yawning, looking uninterested and tired after only just coming on. He then whips in a freekick straight into the keepers arms.

Mackems doing well to defend a 2-1 defeat.
