Looking more and more likely that the jury are going to fail to reach a verdict on this. Who turns up for a case expecting to last 2 weeks and then turns round at the end like "ahh, actually I can't come tomorrow cos I've got to look after my mates fish for 2 days".

When we're losing 3-0 to Rotherham next season with Mike Ashley still in the club, whilst Palace, Pardew and Sunderland are all in the Premier League - we can all laugh together so much and cheer on that late Sunderland goal. We'll all be the real winners. The significance of Pardew is irrelevant, we have had many s*** managers before him and I'm sure we'll have many more in the future. Pardew is s*** and failing at another club, who cares? Saying "I told you so" to Palace fans is embarrassing and petty, I mean we've got so much to laugh at other people for in our current situation. Absolutely no logical reason for any football supporter to wish relegation on their team. Of course, I would probably accept relegation if it was guaranteed to get rid of Ashley (and replace him with a decent owner), but it will not. Why people act like relegation would be an answer to anything I do not know. Ashley will only sell the football club when Ashley wants to, not a day before. Relegation will only lessen the value of his prized asset, therefore he would aim to achieve promotion to regain elite status. He would not walk away, just like last time. Therefore we would come back up then what? Actively hope we get relegated again? What is the point in that? Whether people accept it or not, Ashley is here and will be for as long as he wants. Until a buyer comes along and offers Ashley a price that he deems acceptable (as we all know that would probably be a daft value) then he will not sell us. Rather than sitting on our hands and cheering on Sunderland, the more constructive thing to do would be to arrange a consortium of wealthy supporters to buy NUFC back (highly challenging but has been achieved elsewhere). No amount of protesting will oust Ashley, we've been and tried it all - unless every single NUFC fan in the world stopped attending games or putting money into the club, it will have no effect - the chances of that happening? Nil. Sadly there are a lot of bored millionaires who want to buy football clubs but have absolutely f*** all idea (Leeds, Villa, us being prime examples). Of course I hate what my beloved club has become, we all do. PS - I'd like to distance myself from TCD's terrible forrin opinion

Yup. Season's over. Dead rubbers from now until May. Suckers. They've paid all that money for season tickets and wont have any entertainment from 1st March onwards. We're the lucky ones.

Get in!!
-
He'll be booted soon, they'll panic - unlike us they actually will act and sack somebody if they don't perform. Palace could very well get dragged into this unless they make the right appointment and fast.
-
How is Leicester winning bad? Not everyone wants them to do it. I'm 100% with you.
-
Fucking love Shola I do, such limited talent but such a bloke.
-
Chelsea for Champions League? They're getting ever so closer and look in such good form.

Good bets on the Chelsea game, would've liked to be able to do something similar but don't have anywhere near that amount to bet with at the moment. Not too sure about the Villa - Everton game being under 2.5 goals though, both defences are rather crap. I started off a few weeks back with £250, slowly built it up on similar bets to the Chelsea one. Account is currently sitting at £1,853.67 with the above bets already placed. The Villa/mackem one is a bit of a punt, can see some crap 0-0s and 1-0s tonight, those two games just stood out.

£250 on Chelsea @ 4/6 £150 on -1 @ 17/10 £100 on Sunderland/Palace & Villa/Everton both Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.97/1

He didn't sell when we were relegated last time, so what would make this time any different? A club in the Premier League would be much more attractive to a potential buyer than a team languishing in the Championship. Once we're relegated, what do we aim for? We'll still have Ashley, so we'll aim for promotion and then want to get relegated again? There is absolutely no positives in being relegated, especially as the gap between the Premier League and Championship greatens.

Staying up last season has proved, as predicted by many, to be an absolute f***ing disaster, so forgive me if I'm not in the slightest bit arsed whether we go down or not. And what will going down achieve? Would we even get back up, or sink even further down the pyramid? I think Leicester have proven that a team who scrape past relegation one season could be a completely different team the year after. Ashley wont sell whether we are here, in the Championship or League 2.

People who want Sunderland to beat Palace tonight Aye, because Sunderland creeping above us in the table and plunging us into the shit further would be excellent. I'd rather Palace beat Sunderland, Norwich, Bournemouth, Villa, Swansea between now and the end of the season. Palace will finish 11th - 15th, absolutely nothingness and no relevance to anything. Regardless of how much I dislike Pardew or Sunderland, there is only one outcome tonight that would be reasonable for NUFC and that is a Palace win.

1. He's a strength and conditioning coach. 2. He's Brazilian. Imagine trying to train Jack Colback and Vurnon Anita to be strong

Aye, I seemed to get that impression too from what has been released.

Fletcher was being called to testify on the length on Johnson's pubic hair I think. What a bizarre reason to be a witness in court
-
If you are summoned to court, you HAVE to go. I'm just summising here, but, perhaps the prosecution think they have enough without his evidence. possibly the defense would rather not have him on the stand. For whatever reason. BTW are Fletcher and Johnson good mates ? He wasn't a prosecution witness, he was a defence witness. Johnson told the court that Fletcher refused to come to court after his guilty pleas, which begs the question as to why Johnson was "so honest" with SAFC and his girlfriend - but failed to tell one of his good mates. I have no idea why he wasn't summoned to court, especially as he was a witness for Johnson.

Absolutely delighted with that outcome. I really like Pelligrini, think he's unlucky that Guardiola can walk into any job he fancies. He's handled his time at City really well, but stuttered at times. Had so much shit for not picking English Joe and that decision has proved fantastic. Plus I hate Liverpool.
-
Exactly. But no one has capitalised so City becomes a freebie sort of. John, is that you?
-
Absolutely, horrible foul that was - nowhere near the ball, high and off the ground... no control in that whatsoever. I like Michael Oliver, but he's got that one wrong.
-
To be fair, if you're trying to prove that you're okay to play on after a head injury - slipping over and letting Aguero through on goal moments later probably wont help
-
Excellent winner there Triggs, well done mate

Still find it bizarre that since Ashley has been in charge of NUFC, we've not had a foreign manager. In fact, our last foreign manager was Gullit.
-
The one on the line from the corner? I thought it was like in live play, love how Sky Sports have just completely ignored it

In 1 and a (less than) half games for Man Utd, he has scored more goals than any of our players all season apart from Mitro, Perez and Gini. If he scores another today, only Gini will have outscored him for us worrying.
