  1. I'm probably on a 6 at the moment, the Bournemouth home game is crucial as I think they will be one of the teams right in the mix at the end of the season. Personally can see Villa, Norwich dropping with us, Bournemouth and Sunderland scrapping over the final place. No idea which way the final place will go... the Bournemouth and Sunderland home games are massive.
  2. Would much rather Palace beat Sunderland, a draw would possibly be acceptable depending on our result. Sunderland dropping points is much more important than Palace. I'm sure we'd all be pissing ourselves with laughter if Sunderland put 6-0 past Palace, not sure we'd all be laughing if Sunderland stayed up at our expense at the end of the season because of it. Palace wont go down this season, they'll sack him early doors next season when he carries on his wank form.
  3. £300 on Arsenal @ 13/10 returning £690 £100 on -1 @ 16/5 returning £420 Because of my recent successes, thought I'd go a bit riskier with some of my profits. Couldn't find much value elsewhere either. Really fancy Arsenal today, can see quite a big away win tbh.
  4. I never cash out bets like, you thought it would win when you put it on - so why change your mind now? I cashed out a bet once at £100 from a £5 stake, it went on to win and I'd have won £2k... never again! Cash outs are only available to save the bookies more money.
  5. I've just had a massive feeling that we'll win this. I'm going to go and sit in the dark for a bit to try and get myself together
  6. Ronaldo is and always has been a massive wanker. Great player, but a total prick.
  7. I love how they all seem to think Bolasie coming back is going to magically change the other 10 players on the field and the shite tactics/subs and win the rest of the games for them  They are in a right dogfight now, they lose against the mackems and they've got a great chance of going down.
  8. Quick question that popped into my head... If Johnson told Sunderland the full truth when it came out, then why has Fletcher turned his back on Johnson after the guilty verdict and refused to come to court? Surely, Johnson/Sunderland would not have lied to all of the playing staff - if they have, imagine knowing your employer lied to you for 11 months and allowed a nonce to work alongside you.
  9. Is being a nonce an orange or red injury? He gets half-term off for compassionate leave.
  10. Imagine him in prison he'll get so much grief Still think we're set for a not guilty verdict though.
  11. Another little win, £80ish profit after the other two bets lost.
  12. All of the BBC historical sex abuse cases enough for you? Not as if they've been low profile or anything. Seems your knowledge of the criminal justice system is as comprehensive as your knowledge of football. Or you're just quite thick (whoever you are) and don't understand the discussion. One person's word against another securing a conviction independent of witnesses and other evidence. No? Exactly. Pipe down. You are correct in saying one persons word against another will not secure a conviction, there will need to be other 'evidence' to support the claims of one more than the other. For example, in the Johnson case - if SAFC turned up and said he didn't turn up at the ground until 18:20, that would support the girl and possibly lead to a conviction It doesn't necessarily have to be DNA or fingerprint evidence, it could just be one person having the more believable version of events with other circumstances showing that they are more likely to be telling the truth than the other. I think people are misinterpreting what you are saying. So circumstantial evidence is admissible in court now? Where did I say that like? There? Lets use the Johnson trial as an example... Johnson says he searched about the age of consent because of a conversation in the dressing room... Circumstances that may make his version of events more believable would be: - A team mate in court verifying his version of events - Johnson being able to recall the TV program they were discussing, what happened in the episode relating to the age of consent and what time and day it was on - Johnson being able to prove that the time/date he searched for that, was the exact time/date he would have been in the SAFC dressing room (pre-match for example) IF Johnson was able to do all of those three things (which he hasn't), the jury would be more inclined to believe his point. Nowhere did I say that circumstantial evidence is accepted on its own like, of course it can be accepted in relation to other evidence though. EDIT - if circumstantial evidence wasn't accepted, Johnson would not have even been charged for the other two offences that he has pleaded not guilty to. The circumstantial evidence is the WhatsApp messages, for example.

  15. £250 on Burnley @ 10/11 £100 on -1 @ 21/10 £50 on BTTS in both halves (Motherwell match) @ 14/1
  16. The irony of Sunderland giving away free shirts, whilst Johnson is in court because he felt up a kiddie after giving her a free shirt such great timing
  17. Sorry but what does the last one have to do with anything in terms of his guilt or innocence? His version of events is that he was open and honest with the club, the club may come to court and say that he's lied to them all along and the first time they heard he was guilty was the first day of the trial when he pleaded. All about his honesty and integrity.
  18. I've changed my mind over the last few days, can see a not guilty verdict next week. I just think there are too many holes and assumptions. I 100% believe the young girl like and think the texts he sent her are a clear indication that more than a kiss happened, but I don't know if it will be enough for the jury. The defence lawyer is right, the police have made a right hash of this case in some places:- - Why were SAFC not questioned on AJ's arrival time for the coach? - Why were his teammates not bought to court to discuss his version of "speaking about age of consent" in the changing room? - Why were SAFC not questioned on the reasoning for AJ continuing in his role at the club despite his admission? Crucial points that could have completely thrown AJ's defence out.
  19. I'm glad I avoided them as they were my other temptation tonight. Having a day off tomorrow, otherwise I get carried away.
  20. No idea how Dortmund didn't get a 2nd in that nearly had a kitten when they hit the post in the last minute. Porto could have/should have made it 1-1 mind so I'll take my £200ish profit and run.
  21. They are full of s*** in that video mind, going away on a training camp somewhere warm was the exact right thing to do in our situation. Aye, we definitely needed to get away - I'd rather us go to Spain too than somewhere daft like Dubai.
