Fwiw, Leicester fans rate him but he was never going to replace Vardy in the team. He also doesn’t really fit their style of play. He’ll do very well for us, with the chances we waste.

Not convinced Fletcher will chip in with anywhere near what Grabban did, based on the fact that his current record is 6 goals in 53 appearances (5 of them in League 1) They’ve also failed to sort out their appalling defence, it’s absolutely glorious.

Was there even anyone available for £30m who could be guaranteed to score goals? We were quoted £20m for Jorgensen and he wasn't guaranteeing anything. Imo unless you're signing Lionel Messi there's no such thing as a player who will guarantee goals. There's a multitude of reasons why players might not hit form at a new club despite doing well for the former clubs. Messi is the only player in world football who transcends that. Spot on.

Should be pretty low odds all things considered like. Fulham have 17 games between now and early May and Mitrovic should be able to play all of them in a poorer league and in a top 6 side. We have 13 games and Slimani can realistically play 11 of those in a higher quality league were his team is in a relegation battle. Fulham definitely aren’t a top 6 side like.

TalkSport were sprouting all sorts of shit yesterday during their Drive show about how we should be thankful to Ashley for signing Slimani and hate PCP for not being serious bidders.

He just doesn’t look like he can strike a ball with any sort of power or conviction. Will win a few headers here and there, hold the ball up okay at times but he is just utterly useless at he main part of his job. If we had a someone with him in the Bellamy mould, who would score goals, it’d probably work and mask his obvious deficiencies. Thankfully we’ve bought a proper striker in, sadly, it’s far too late and we’ve dropped points because of it.

These might actually go down with that squad like. Fantastic.

It was nice for everyone that Ashley Barnes was allowed to referee the game last night. What the fuck do we have to do to get an opposition player sent off? Not seen dissent like that go unpunished in a long time.

Never thought I’d say this but what a fantastic performance by Diame tonight. To be fair, he’s done alright for most of the season, seems to be getting better too. Didn’t think he had this sort of performance left in him but well done
