International football is fucking grim like. I think I never get into England games because they always have so many unlikeable players. Hart, Henderson, Alli, Vardy, Lingard and Sterling from the current crop. Don’t even think I’d go mental if we won the World Cup, it’d be nice - but I can’t say it’d actually excite me in any way. Our best hope is that a group with a bottomless pit of money make him an offer that he cannot refuse. As exciting that all of this is, I wont get too excited until it’s confirmed. Intent/awareness is difficult to prove like, providing nobody at the club has been stupid enough to detail their awareness in any communication. We may have paid agent X a substantial sum, knowing where it is going, but it’s virtually impossible to evidence our awareness of that unless it is detailed somewhere. Would be very surprised if this resulted in anything other than minor embarrassment and a slap on the wrists by the way of a fine. We have a right to appeal, therefore they still cant view the documents until that has been decided. This will be a very elongated process and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was still dragging along in 12 months.
