To be fair, his username is fairly honest.

John Moss as well! As a referee myself I can tell you ability alone is not enough. Its about who you know and who can get you places too. Cronyism definitely comes into play hence why we've those two s*** c***s still as prem refs. It's also how Moss got the FA cup final before far more competent refs such as Oliver and Clattenberg got their chance. Aye Moss is another one. There's 4 or 5 of them who look totally out of their depth every time they step out onto a football pitch and make huge mistake after huge mistake. It does beg the question how they got to where they are. The level of officiating below them, as we encountered last season, probably explains it.

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

Was genuinely surprised to see that he got 9 goals and 6 assists last year. In comparison, Ritchie got 12 goals and 7 assists - a number (4?) of his would have been penalties and he played a lot more minutes. Not sure what I'm really getting at, maybe Perez goes about his job quietly. His goals/assists are relatively good since he's been with us, but he never really seems to impress over the course or a full game. -
Have we released him into the wild? That's the only positive run out, surely.

Bobby Madley is such an appalling ref. Makes a clear cockup every time he's in charge of a game.

Completely forgot about Saivet tbh.

Thought that analysis on Liverpool was quite good by Carragher tbf. Makes me think we should go with Gayle and Joselu/Mitro. Gayle with his scampering around and the other to bully.

So it's just MOTD2 who come out of this looking like absolute tossers then.

.com with a very good roundup.

Cant wait for it to somehow make its way into the referee's match report

Sky Sports, to their credit, seem to be highlighting the stamp quite a lot. They've just put a video of it on social media and are running it during their Sports Roundup.

They drew 1-1 with Burnley at home after their last CL tie, fwiw. Sometimes teams really struggle with it. -

I've always had patience with Perez on the basis that 'one day he'll come good' but, it's been like that for 3 years now like. I just dont get him at all, he has an amazing touch at times but he doesn't really seem to offer anything. I have no confidence in him scoring or assisting on a regular basis, he plays well at times but not frequently enough nor does he offer a real threat. -
Scored well during pre-season too. But, he's an idiot and is running out of chances.
-
With him being on loan, is there any possibility that another team could come in and make a bid for him, prior to us triggering the obligation by him playing enough games? Just concerned that he's quite clearly very good and it's only a matter of time before others notice.

Never works like that though does it, there is no set time for specific incidents like that or there would have been about 8 minutes added on in the Leicester - Liverpool game yesterday. With 6 subs, 2 goals, a penalty and a couple of injuries requiring physio treatment. I didn't expect any more than 3 minutes, thought it was fair.

Think we'll give them a good game but fall up short. 1-2 -
Not sure about more than 3 minutes, was the physio ever on the pitch today? Brighton only made one sub too and there wasn't a huge amount of time wasting.

Some lad got sent off against us for Reading too, didn't he? Two yellows at home.

11 v 11 we completely nullified Spurs like. They were obviously going to find more space when one of our players left the field.

Think Gayle would have done better today but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Joselu gets into some great positions but has been let down by his finishing.
