Ok.

He was absolutely fine. The defending in front of him wasn't, at times. Another player that people have a random dislike for and unable to give it up. I have no dislike for Elliot. Don't think i've ever called him Blob or whatever. Don't care about his comments. Defended him before. I just think he looked shakey besides a world-class save. Always slow off his line and has to rush clearances etc. Other than one poor clearance (which nearly every keeper does each match), he didn't put a single foot wrong and kept us in the game with an outstanding save. Sometimes I think you do this for attention.

The one against Spurs was right in front of him. There were loads of bodies in the way today iirc, the rest of the players didn't even see it The 4th official would have been what, 10 yards away? With an unobstructed view.

Almost guarentee that the stamp will get no action.

His kicking has improved massively over the last two games. Another superb save to keep us in it, for a keeper that doesn't make good saves. TCD talking shit, as per.

Having a CM that plays simple but effective forward passes is lush.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Frank in at Tottenham

Oh aye, it's almost certain that we'll cock it up It'd be the most Newcastle thing ever if we beat Brighton and Liverpool and then walk into a 1-0 defeat by Palace. -

Palace are going to be in such a bad way by the time they play us Assuming the world doesn't go mad, they'll turn up having played 8 and lost 8. Very questionable if they will even manage a goal by the time they play us. -
Another crowd below 20k there again, reported as 25k, but it really wasn't. They couldn't really be in a bigger mess like.

MOTD completely ignoring Vardy's dive for the free kick before the first goal and the foul on Mignolet from the resultant corner.

If you count being fouled as dodgy keeping, aye.

Not reckon they've got a better squad than Burton Albion? I reckon they do. It's a poor team but it's a lower mid table championship team You could make an argument that Lloyd Dyer and Luke Varney, two players who only made the bench for Burton today - would walk straight into the mackems starting 11. I'd argue that they are probably a similar level, as you said - you'd expect both teams to be in the bottom half, I don't think the quality is all that different down there. Maybe marginally but other than Birmingham and Bolton, no other teams are in a real 'crisis'.
