Not really. I always thought he was an average squad player and I did say that at the time he went to you lot. I always preferred him at left back rather than midfield because his influence on the game was often poor when he was in the middle of the park. I can't ever remember him getting MOTM at our place, and he played over 100 times for us. After watching his display against Borini on Sunday (a player who's been bang average this season) I think he's probably best off on the bench. Generous.
