Me neither, think it can be a decent system TBH. FWIW I think Anita could play alongside a genuine DM who can actually affect the game. Yep, I'd love to see this. Sell Colback and Tiote and get a proper DM alongside Anita. Personally, I would be happy to see Anita sitting behind a player like Shelvey. I think they would complement each other's style.

Tbh, when it comes to possible reds, I am also worried about Janmaat and Kug Fu Haidara (should he start) as well as Mitro -- plus a little niggle about Colback (auto fill just typed accolade for Colback!!) -
"Crucifixion?" "Yes." "Good, out of the door, one cross each, line on the left..."

Phew! If you can "keep your head" when we score against them, then you are a personification of the Kipling "...you'll be a man, my son" poem. A man with a flat boring life, but a man none the less -

Good luck mate! Sit on your hands, dig your nails in your palms, imagine the four hour wait at A&E... do anything but celebrate when we score. If you lapse, try and turn your gazelle-like (ahem...) fist-pumping, "get-IN" yelling, celebratory leap, into a "fucking Geordie bastards!" Worked for me once...well, it at least delayed the inevitable -

feel the same and have the same nagging thoughts about why! Does feel nice though, things might actually align for us, for once. Ideal pre-derby result, finally found a system that works, no major absentees enough new people in team whose winning mentality hasn't been totally battered out of them. This could be good... this could be really good! -

Predictions league 2015/16 - Now with average N-O prediction table!
Altamullan replied to Magpie's topic in Football
All scoring to be confirmed by Magpie.: This week’s scores have soared like our beloved Magpies’ form (...team, not prediction tsar) producing the best result thus far. I reckon 14 players have scored 20 points or more, with two breaking into the dizzy heights of 30+; and we’ve a season’s best average of 20. The highest scoring game returned a steady 119 points (Chelsea v Villa), but had an amazing 16 correct results; none of them nominated/doubled-up. Despite the high scoring, can’t spot any 10 pointers this week. The game with the most nominations was “Citeh” v Bournemouth (8); nobody picked the 5-1, but Chopey collected a nice six points with a nominated 3-1. Our game attracted six nominations, and I’m name checking myself for emboldening a 3-0 win; close (st) but no cigar....Lawro would have scored 23 points, beating Amir Khan (on points...!?!), who collected a respectable 20 points (gave him City v Bournemouth, as nom). Our ‘Group Guess’ (median of our H scores vs. median of our A scores) hit a season high total of 21 points. The "'Lone Wolf', 'Scene not Herd'” (insert favoured non-sheep, non-copycat phrase) stand-out prediction of the week goes to BleedsBlackand White for supplying some top w*** material... sorry, I meant to say for guessing Stoke would beat Swansea 1-0. Who knew! Him evidently. Green knickers Exercise balls Green knickers ...(need gif of Benny Hill chasing some laaaadies...) Roll on next Sunday! -

Feeling optimistic myself (ish): There's a good time comin', though we may not live to see the day. -
Not confident of this/familiarity with the dark place thankfully fairly sketchy, but I thought cheesy chips was a Teesside thang... at least I first came across it there (circa 1995), much to my amusement.

I did, well pretty much. Saw three games and highlights. Could tell he had skill, but wasn't sure. So shoot me....
-
Aye and Perez didn't i suppose? soon as he gets an opportunity he'll be off as well. Mole, just wanted to say fair play to you mate. I was still unsure about Ayoze at start of season. Your support (amongst others)of him was unwavering, and spot on. Good shout, really enjoying watching him now. Long may it continue.

in awe of all of the above. Ruddy breakdance made me spit out a mouthful of tea! Class. Thanks.

1-0 (Retardo) 1-1 (Perez) HT 2-1 (fukwitto) 2-2 (Jogback) 2-3 (Mitro) 2-4 (Thauvin) I was just being greedy there... (eyes bigger than belly....). -
I had same thought, imagined the cogs whirring into overdrive. Mitro (sadly), despite his tender years, probably has lived experience of tribal hatred that puts our 'Makems must die...' (...But not really like, mate) type banter into sharp contrast. Really hopes he keeps his shit together/stays focussed. Could imagine players and crowd putting a fair bit of effort in, to get under his skin/provoke him.

Did anybody kick you in the recent footy match Slim? Unfortunately not...not even a toe up the hole People eh! Not playing along with your masochism. Pah! Well, can't win them all, but at least we all help you out by being targets for your sadism.

Good for you 'Sous Chef'! I have a soft spot for JC/don't like the stick he gets. I thought it was a bit of a 'ghost buster' performance from him today, as in he was running and closing/chasing shadows/shutting out opportunities, a lot. Not eye-catching, not much with the ball, but you miss it when it's not there (the two Ferns at Citeh get similiar levels of 'appreciation'...). Anita improved things IMO. That said, I would crawl over broken glass if we could sign someone like Shelvey in January.

Thought Haidara played well tbf, liked his bite in a couple of tackles and held his position well. -
What's the alternative Dude? Feel hopeless, pessimistic, churned-up and fucked-off all week? We get the points, and it's all been 'pointless' emotio. We don't get the points; are you really going to feel any better than if you'd had a decent hopeful week?? You'll just have had 10 days of feeling crap, rather than 3 (I'm employing my three day post derby blues assumption, just so you know...).They say it's the hope that kills you, but it's also the hope and optimistim that makes your NUFC supporting life a better place to be for a few decades. Bring it on, let's spank the unfortunates and their slug-heeded leader...

Yep, loved it. Great craik. Gini bright as a button, Mitro surprisingly caring and warm...but don't think he's enjoying how hard training has been by sounds of it! Lazy git.
