Manchester City vs Newcastle United, Saturday 3/10/15 15:00

Hamstring problem according to commentators. Don't know if precautionary substitution or if he's out/injured. -
Get this reverberating around the ground and I'll buy you a season ticket
-
To add to the confusion, we used to call one of them Jesus, and the other one used to make us say Jesus Christ! a lot...
-
Toure off, apparently hamstring. Hopefully out for Saturday.
-
Does Dost look like he would have improved and impressed us?
-
Watching City game. At the risk of tempting providence, Sterling looks a bit short at this level (quality, not stature, on latter looks a bit short on any level...). Toure also not on fire. However, Silva a joy to watch (Nobby fused with Gazza and "Pedro" -- our one).

Sport Pub Chelsea (Toolonlahdenkatu 1, 00100 Helsinki) or Sports Academy Helsinki (Kaivokatu 8, 00100 Helsinki) Cheers. The first one was recommended for me by a mate whose parents are from Helsinki and has been there a lot. The sound of going to a Chelsea sports pub didn't sound great to me, but it sounds like it might be decent. With a bit of poetic licence, the address could be a good omen... Toolonlahdenkatu 1, 0 -
I find the standard amazing too. My lad was 'scouted' for Man City development academy when only 5 (unbelieveable isn't it), and playing in an under 7 league. He's still an exceptional young player, but no longer at City; watching him occasionally train with their Elite squad under 6's and 7's was like watching him play against a bunch of serious twenty-somethings. The technical skill and tactical nous was astonishing...that said not much joy/fun in evidence; it all seems a bit serious and driven. Didn't like the vibe at all with such young lads.
-
Still think this. Hoping he isn't starting to hide/the coaches can get him full of himself again. Felt for him (in equal measure to feeling frustarted by him) against Sheff Wed, there were audible groans as unforced error after unforced error/bad ball left his boot.

All scores to be confirmed by Magpie. Week 7: Another stand out game this week, in terms of points scored/an evidently predicable—and deeply comforting—result for the Geordie Horde: Man Utd Sunderland returned 152 points; 13 correct scores, five of which were doubled; and 5 six pointers too. Only one of us got our result right: South Cheshire Toon, and he only went and doubled it up. Top man!! (a no doubt satisfying 6 points for POOT, too)10 of us had us losing by three or more goals, and a further 13 had us losing by two goals. 5 nominations deservedly returning 0 points...faithless heathen, that ye are!! Good shout by JoeyT for Watford game, also; only one to pick the score. A healthy average score, this week, of 17.4, and our ‘Group Guess’ (median of our H scores vs. median of our A scores) achieved a personal best of 19 points. Collectively, we was ‘hot’! Individually...not so much/lots of variably. Lawro had a good week hitting his (Magpie’s rules) high score of 24; his guest Stereophonics singer Kelly ‘Leeds Utd’ Jones (gave him Swansea as nomination) didn’t “Have [such a] nice day...” and probably ended-up “Drinking back, drinking for two...” (sorry...) scoring an uninspiring 10. -
Was it the one encased within your thumb? Or your proper heed??

Well it is less than a year since we beat them there two nil. Pretty young/ inexperienced side too (Aarons, Armstrong, Abeid, Haidara starting). That said, we had 30%possession and less than third of the chances. Also Aguero wasn't playing, Silva went off early, and Toure after an hour. Really , really enjoyed it, nevertheless, and it definitely happened.... -

Despite the richness (no pun...) of their squad, they are worse without Silva and Kompany; especially when Toure is having one of his dips in form/interest. Think we need all of the above, plus some. Here's hoping. -
Yep, saw that: my 'yelp' of frustration scared the dog!

Normally watch this one in City end (with City fan son...). Last one was League Cup This time I'm in the away end, he's with his four Manc uncles in City end. He's promised to wave, expecting two fingers! -
Great post: voice of reason.

Tbf, we missed JC: GO didn't contribute enough (surprise surprise). Stage was set for Thauvin to make his mark, but his game against Sheffield Wed, I suspect, has created 'trust' issues for SMc. -

They've had a bad start to the season, but p*ss poor? It really is, totally unbalanced. Fabregas is awful these days and Hazard isn't as good as his reputation suggests, Costa likewise. I don't think they have one world class player and have a good few plodders. I'd have all three in a heart beat. Fwiw, I thought Hazard was immense in this game; pulled them back into it. -
Smearings of shameful sh*te in here.

Unbelieveable response to that game.
