  1. Third game in a row we concede a last min first half goal... Without a paddle. (Actually chuck in Bournemouth with a very last minute 90+ mins goal)
  2. Don't understand this easy start theory. We are 13 games in. There's only another 6 to go before we start all over, within those 6 we've got everton, west brom and Leicester. It's not very scientific, but I coded our games for difficulty (as did others), at the start of the season. Based on last season's poisition and whether home or away. We had less of the most unlikely to win games in the first third of the season. On paper should have picked-up a disproportionate number of points (compared to the other thirds). We were doing alright, it's in this thread somewhere; we aren't now. Just had a look, this formula was more or less accurate until end of October (predicted 15 pts, got 14 pts). Predicted 7 pts from 4 games in November, got 0 pts from 3 games. Predicted 8 points from 7 relatively harder games in December. We'll see....
  3. Given, on paper, we've had a relatively easy start I think we'll be in real trouble if the form/results stay this way.
  4. Do you think he'd play ahead of Murray?
  5. Would love to see Murphy and Aarons feature at some point; battle of the young English vs. young Brazillian (Richarlison) play-a-likees (ish).
  6. We have really missed this young fellow. Calm head, keeps possession.
  7. Cheaper if like Man City? No chance, is my gut reaction. Never had a season ticket there but the match day tickets and cost within the ground, seems expensive. First full season I reckon a 5-10% increase across the 'whole match day experience.'

  9. what kind of spooky, seer, visionary s*** is going on here, Nostradamus? Even more strangely the bloke in the picture has number 14 on his back!!
  10. You folks have rattled-off 12 pages, since I last looked in here! It's happening
  11. Can see Richarlison running through us at will. Seems similar ilk to Murphy and Aarons:Young raw direct. Difference is he is having an impact this season. Clearly their most effective midfielder. Here's hoping one of ours steps up to the mark (If given a chance).
  12. Wasn't involved that much. All I can recall is he looked up for it/not intimidated and he made a great challenge early on; only remember latter because someone was down/looked ready to be carried off on the other side of the pitch and I thought it was him; in an 'Oh well, he's made a contribution at least' kind of way. Turned out to be a Hayden melodrama.
  13. I thought Clark played alright and Lejeune had a cracking game (in parts). Gave the ball away too cheaply in midfield, and general lack of quality/courage showed.
  14. Well, enjoyed that despite the score line. Great support:”Taxi for Lon-don, taxi for...”
  15. Man Utd home record (last 8 games, 24-1 goals wise): 4-0 West Ham 2-0 Leicester 3-0 Basel 4-0 Everton 4-1 Burton 4-0 Palace 1-0 Spurs 2-0 Benfica ?-0 Newcastle United

  18. I’ve never seen us lose there (only been for the semis!) ... stop thinking of your own pleasure (well leisure...) everyone, and someone give me a ticket!
  19. Might work out but given that Watford have pretty much changed their manager every year, for the past decade, personally I wouldn't show them any loyalty if a (potentially) better offer came up.
  20. Is it just me, or does this smack of a blitzkrieg build strategy? Buy land to build a community asset, then use that initiative to prime the land around for other intentions.
  21. Park at Trafford Centre for free. 20 mins on the bus (no. 250) to Sir Matt Busby Way/Old Trafford (probs double the time on match day). I've never taken the bus from there but seems straight forward/same as Metro Centre. Advantage is that Traff Centre is straight off the motorway (junction 10 M60). Not sure of best carpark within Trafford Centre for the bus station, but I'm sure you could find out. Park at Salford Quays (Lowry Outlet) multi story M50 3AH will cost £7 for up to 6 hours. £12 for longer. Will have to get there early (ish) as loads of (visiting...) Man Utd fans seem to park there. Not much shops wise, but a few bars/restaurants. Old Trafford a 15 min walk away over the bridge from Salford to Trafford. Also plenty of pay to park match day parking on Trafford side. Park at my house; for nowt. Give me your ticket; for good karma/random act of kindness.
  22. England and Germany B teams were playing, plus sometimes the ‘Beckhams, Maldinis, Zidanes, Ronaldinhos and Figos’ aren’t really lauded until towards the end or even after their career. If the current crop of English players, I wonder how Kane, Dele Alli, Dier will be remembered? There are surely a number of big name French, Italian, Brazilian, and (one) Portuguese players who stand out of the current crop.
  23. Harrison Ford is going the kick the f*** out of him!
  24. Toldo Maldini Davids Zidane Ronaldo
