Sissoko alone was a £28.5m profit so you'd think so. £15m profit on Cabaye, £6m on Debuchy, £10m (?) on Gini..... I reckon it's a big profit overall but it includes two relegations, and the money involved with the premiership is where you want to be. I really can't fathom how any of the idiot minds running this club work. Thick as mince the lot of them. It also includes 2 massive increases in the TV deal which have bumped up prices. Look at how the mackems got 14m for PvA. Which makes it even more baffling as to why they didn't want to back Rafa to make it 100% certain of promotion, which Townsend and another CM would have done. Dumb as fuck this lot.

Aye, to be fair i didn't really think it through.

He's thrown down the gauntlet, now lets see if the cowards running the club can even try to pick it up this summer.

You'd think he'd be furious with Carr after the cash wasted on the likes of Cabella, Thauvin, Saivet, DeJong, Colback etc. Yep and it baffles the fuck out of me why he isn't. Colback was a Pardew special, Obertan, Colback and Blob, what a guy Pardew is at picking players

Hope his son bums him to death.

I'm definitely of the opinion that Charnley isn't that much of a problem. While out of his depth he does Ashley's bidding in running the club, with Ashley's bidding now seemingly being directed by Carr on players. The problem is Ashley and Carr as we all know, and with Ashley listening to Carr on transfers again, well aint that just dandy. He need to listen to Rafa, which I fear he absolutely wont and we're stuck with the fat cunt in purgatory.
-
Which got us relegated twice, once because of Dennis Wise recommending players and then Carr, topped off by having utterly useless managers. Now we have a fantastic manager in Rafa Benitez and still Ashley is too thick as mince to see what's best for the club.

For fucks sake, a chink of light for the first time in ages after 5 years of a manager who made me hate football. Then a retard i wouldn't leave in charge of a potato, then a nice fella out of his depth with at least a fun island on his head. Now this, sometimes i wish i didn't love football so much. It's literally ruining my body and mind, i've done an ACL, just recovered from a broken arm/dislocated elbow i did playing the fucking game. I'm 46 and supported this heartbreaking club for longer and before anything else i can actually remember. And all it's really ever been is a rollercoaster than never goes up. And then by luck usually only reserved for arseholes who don't deserve it the club find, somehow, a great manager and the fat pile of spunkshit is now ruining that, i give up.

I think it was more the lazy play, misplaced passes and utterly shocking first half as it wore on (40 seconds in aside) that had a massive factor in things to give the crowd some credit.

Stockdale

Well i suppose that's good for us...ish.

Hate to say Pardew was right about anything but when he said 'Ashley does things that aren't in the best interest of the club at times' well something along those lines anyhoo. Definitely rings true that.

We're at home to Derby. Derby is Lascelles home town. He was absolutely garbage tonight Oh yeah, i read that as we're in his hometown Saturday for some reason

He wouldn't have known that Clark was going to leap like a fish with no one near him tbf. If he'd shouted KEEPERS BALL he'd have been a damn sight more sure that Clark would leave it?? If he'd thought that he was going to leap for a ball with no one near him he might have shouted. Any Keeper making a forward motion to claim a ball should be shouting his head off that it's his ball, that is a basic of goalkeeping. Darlow moved forward and didn't shout at all. His fault imo.
-
It didn't, we created far more chances and should have scored at least two. Poor finishing and poor player decisions cost us, imo.
-
Most teams do that now and it drives me utterly mental, it just invites a free ball back in when you clear it.

So the answer is change your philosophy and start from scratch because a few people on NO feel it isn't working? Personally I'm not sure we have the players to implement any system particularly well, certainly not at a level which this forum seems to expect. Now you know that's utterly over the top, as is most discussions on here at times. Tweak it, mix it up a tad that's all i'd like him to do. Oh and fuck that 4-2-3-1 shit off
-
It's darlow's fault clearly. I don't think he had time to react personally. Wat, are you Colonel Steve Austin
-
He's had Atsu to pick for the first 5 months of the season and hasn't, just saying.

All on Sky Sports 1th Feb Wolves (a) 20th Feb Villa (h) 28th Feb Brighton (a) 4th March Huddersfield (a) We'll be in the playoffs then. That's the spirit Can you realistically see us winning any of those at the moment? Not really, especially the one on the 1th of Feb.
-
5 good games, the rest have been shaky The two holding players in the 4-2-3-1 offer no protection to the defence. I fucking hate the formation, really really hate it.
-
A far better forward than a midfielder, drop forever please Rafa.
