..anyone got a reason? There isn't one, we could sign him but do you really think that'll happen now.
-
If Yup. Point still stands, he'd be very good in this league imo. It's a shame he's been so injury prone, he's obviously class but never ever fit. A real shame like.

It'll be Vuckic man. He's already back though isn't he ? Yup. Forgot about de Jong, could be interesting. Oh god, not the ambulance mans dream
-
He's the only centre mid we've got out on loan isn't he? Unless we're thinking of bringing back de Jong and moving Diame back That young fella at Killie is a CM, Longcock or something.

What's this about? About my 7 hours watching sky sports deadline day and it being a total joke. Some keeper only has 11 for handling and will be a worry for Wenger. For serious :-) They're still using the Football Manager ratings Just ridiculous.

I like Bournemouth, it's lovely in the summer.

Not sure he ever signed O'Shea for a club

Farewell sweet prince

SSN news just said Mbemba is now not part of the deal but a deal on it's own. Didn't say if it was a loan or buy for Mbemba though.

Then that's the end of that I'd say. Just a suggestion, who knows, but IF that was the case I'd say he can go and f*** himself to be honest. I agree if it is but all the reports have suggested that he is keen to come - everything points to the fact that Ashley has a new crane to lift him back up and is trying to play football manager again - we will see but I will be very surprised if anyone comes in by tomorrow of any stature. If he was keen to come why would we not just pay the £13m and get the deal done? If there's a loan fee which we don't want to pay then that would suggest it's Townsend that wants it to be a loan deal initially. I reckon it's us who won't commit to the £13m and want a loan in case we don't go up. While we all think we'll go up i suppose paying £13m and getting a player in on Premiership wages would be a risk, if we then didn't go up. The 'Sky Sources' thing on the SSN ticker thing says they reckon we're prepared to pay the £13m. Aye i saw that earlier but it doesn't tally with the loan fee does it, there's no need for any of that talk if we were buying him straight, right now. When i saw it earlier it the way the presenter said it, it was more we were prepared to pay £13m once we were up, but not the £2m loan fee Palace want to be able to do that.

Thinks it's as much as them as it is us playing hardball for the £2m like.
-
Might as well call them Evertonland or Sunderton now.

£15m altogether with the prices the way they are right now is a steal, he's talented and perfect for Rafa's 4-2-3-1. I wouldn't say it's a steal but it would likely ensure promotion so it's certainly worth paying a bit of a premium to get it done. £15m for an England international who's only 25. It's bloody cheap with the madness going on right now. Personally i think anything for any player over £5m is nuts, the way the world is anyhoo.

Sellers market right now though, i agree with you mind.

Aye it's stupid given the amount of money in the game just pay it. I actually think they got him for an artificially low price due the release clause so don't blame them for wanting more. But i suppose our argument would be they did the same when hey bought him off us, and now only 5 months later don't want him and expect us to pay more for a player they don't want. He had a release clause which is the only reason they got him for the price they did. Very true, fwiw i think we'll get him now.
