I thought Liverpool's two pens weren't. The foul on lacazette was a definite pen. VAR should be in now simple. But agree the rich will still have their share of 'luck'

Kenny Wharton on a free. Be an upgrade on Dunmmet

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Absolutely spot on! -
Ok so he averages 20 to 25. Meaning he misses a fair chunk every season (bar one). Tends to be hamstring type injuries too every season
-
His injury record is pretty bad. Only one season over 40 games tends to miss 40% of the season. That on top of his inability on the ball means we are desperate for a left back.
-
He never seemed happy with their buys. Yes they spent daft money as stupid as it sounds other than Matic how many were his first choices? Watching them play their midfield doesn't work too many 6 footers who just run and tackle a bit. No finesse trying to remember his Chelsea midfield did he have a playmaker alongside makelele and lampards?

Totally agree with the above

What would you have done? Kenedy? I wouldn't have played 3 at the back from the start. Only works to me if at least one is a decent passer. Dummett, play him left back and put Ritchie back in midfield. The not fit Dummett or the other imaginary one? The one that was sub. Like what's your point? That Benitez had no choice as he is Zeus returned from the Gods ?

I'd prefer Manquillo to Clark or even Lazar -
Playing Gayle *who can't get into West Brom team and Joselu is still a mystery to me and always will be. Thread should be closed as it will get worse the better he becomes
-
He needs a run and to be told your in the team for x games. Even Atsu seems to be ahead in the pecking order Seems an odd signing personally not convinced but hard to tell from a few minutes here and there
-
As good as Fernandez has been he will play Lascelles and Lejeune when fit. Lascelles is still young and likely to improve so makes sense to start him ahead of a 30 year old. I'd like to see more of Schar too I'd sell Clark and whatever he brings on get a left back a position we've needed to strengthen since Enrique left.

I still say in a better team who play football he would be an all together improved player. Yes he has been here a few years but he can still improve whereas fans favourite Ritchie will become even more unathletic
