Be surprised if he leaves this month but definitely away in the summer. PSG would be a good destination for all parties.

He’s not going to continue through the season if we keep losing every week. Our form can’t continue like this forever, what’s the board’s threshold for withstanding losses in a row? If we lose all matches in the Luton (H), Forest (A) and Bournemouth (H), (on top of expected losses against City and Villa), he’ll most likely be gone.

Howe has to sort out some of our underlying tactical issues mind, primarily in organisation and shape. All season long, I’ve felt our midfield has been so easy to bypass with a simple ball through.
-
It’s not just the one game is it though? It’s our form.
-
I mean, this is a results-based business like. Our form can’t be accepted indefinitely.

I’m pretty concerned like. We don’t look organised at all. We were a rabble tonight.

Another ragged performance. We don’t look set up to compete. -

If we lose, the players deserve every bit of flack that goes their way honestly. -
I don’t want to see him sacked, but this is the worst situation we’ve experienced since the Cambridge cup loss. Our away form all season has been wretched and dire performances are now compounding the negative results. On a basic level, I’m concerned we’ve been found out. It feels like if we concede, we have no answer. When we play, we can’t adapt. This obviously stems in large part to our injury list, but teams seem to find it incredibly easy to play against us now. We look so vulnerable on every attack. I also think that in the last couple months, mentally we’re just not there. We’ve made some catastrophic human errors in a game that have led directly to a goal. I don’t really know what the answer is but I’m extremely concerned. I don’t think we get a single point in the league in January and I also have little faith the team will actually put in a display that gets us a win at Sunderland. If we lose the derby, there will be an avalanche of negativity. I wonder if the ownership are aware of how bad it will be if we lose that game. Ultimately, it all hinges on results. If we continue to spiral down into the bottom-half, the owners will act, especially if we have a fuller squad available.

Given Isak and Wilson’s injury record, it seems very naive to not bring in another striker. Surely we didn’t think that both would stay fit for most of the season? Recognise the argument that the majority of clubs don’t have three strong striking options, but most clubs don’t have two strikers with consistent fitness issues.

Losing the derby would be massive thing like. People will be in for a shock with the reaction from fans if that happens (not just on here). Especially if that’s off the back with poor results against Forest and Liverpool.
-
Think he’ll be under some pressure if we lose to Sunderland unfortunately. Our away form is unsustainable. He has to find the answers very soon.
-
Our away form is simply unsustainable. Things need to change.

Never been as confident as a player missing a pen since Kenedy at Cardiff.

Why in the fuck would you let him take one man -
Club America won the Liga MX last night, beating Tigres 3-0.

I definitely agree we need a specialist #6 midfielder. Wanted that to be prioritised in the summer.
-
I think Phillips coming in January would be a sensible one, especially if it’s an option to buy on loan. I’ve been really disappointed with his lack of development at City, however do believe Howe can improve him a lot. Suppose the biggest question is how long will it take for him to be at the level of sharpness Howe needs to function effectively in that role. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we ask about Lloyd Kelly in January, contract expires in summer. Plenty competition for him though I’d expect.

The Hall situation is another factor that’s really soured my verdict on the window as a whole. The more I think about it, the more frustrated I get about our strategy, the summer just feels like a really missed opportunity.

Can’t get over that chance. In terms of post-match feeling, reminds me of the sheer incredulity of Chris Wood’s effort at Sheff Wed. -
Midway through the second half and onward, we lost all organisational discipline. Personally, I’m very disappointed how we threw tonight’s game away. Lack of experience was painfully evident.
-
The new lads we brought in towards the end of the window seem to have really raised the overall level of the team. Sanusi, Heffernan and Shahar look excellent prospects.

Took that really well.
