Love him. Always been surprised how good his English is, given his age and never played in the UK prior to us.

Rather get Allegri in asap than have 18 more months of Bruce.

Other articles in the same rag detail what everyone else has been saying since Tuesday. But it's just odd and has planted a seed of doubt about the entire thing for me due to his connection with Ashley. Which feels absolutely horrible. No idea if I'm just bedwetting like but this feeling ain't nice at all after the last few days.

Interviewed Ashley at the start of the season didn't he? Cannit be arsed to do this again, man.

That article reads weirdly. He's suggesting that a price hasn't been agreed.

Aye, cracking joke Steve.

The clinging onto FFP with 'they'll never be more than a top 10 club' is canny funny like. We were the 7th best team in the league last season after Almiron signed, and that's Rafa with massive constraints in the form of Michael James Wallace Ashley. Imagine what Rafa can do if/when that fat twat is gone as well as those constraints.

Can see 2 or 3 big/quality signings in the summer. Desperate for a striker, potentially 2 strikers. Need a solid defensive midfielder that's an upgrade on Hayden and is decent enough on the ball to aid in our transition. We've got no quality out wide if ASM gets injured, it's not Miggy's position and he's our only other real decent attacker. Full backs are a necessity too. Would take Willems back as a LB but we need a RB. A few good players in those positions and I think we've got a canny side on our hands. Especially under a proper manager. Though, its going to take 3 or 4 transfer windows to get the upgrades we need.

That season must have been belter to experience. No expectations, just played our football, smacking teams left right and centre and finishing 3rd. Hopefully the coming seasons are like that.

Get Adidas back and have them just give us a NUFC version of Juventus' 2017/18 shirt.

Conte wouldn't leave Inter for us, will take a few years of success and establishment in the top 6 (making it a top 7) before the top players and managers will want to come here. I expect Allegri would have us playing similar football to what Rafa had us playing last season post-Almiron but with more dominance against the poorer sides. Italian managers tend to do very well when they come to the PL. Though most have them have had a head start with the squad as all of them started at Chelsea (iirc).

Hope they stay down in 3rd tier and lower end of the Championship oblivion for the rest of their existence. Get them in a cup every other season and pummel them.

Fucking 2020ers. Everyone in the north east was a MLF before the Saudis turned up.
-
If/when he leaves, he's done better than expected but better than expected was not being embroiled in the relegation battle shit we've had to endure in 5 of the last 6 PL seasons prior to this current one. The football was, with 2 exceptions away at West Ham and West Brom (which we almost threw away), laborious at best and utterly vile at worst. The two games against Leicester in particular. He was Ashley's perfect kind of manager and unlucky for him, it looks like we're being taken over and he will end up going back to the kind of jobs he was taking prior to him coming here. Don't hate him, don't like him. Hopefully in the coming days or weeks, bye.

"Not gonna answer you Craig, you're out to derail us totally."

I think it'd take Pochettino a little longer than Rafa or Allegri to get us the way he wants to play and regularly winning games due to how we've been playing for the last 3 years. I hear and understand you, but Poch has managed in the premier a long time, his Southampton days right the way through adapting to the premier and learning English, I remember the days of him stood with a translator in his interviews. I'm sure he would be fine adjusting (But you're saying would the players), I dont want to contradict what i said in a different thread though, claiming we need a manager that takes no shit. That I would question, has Poch got a strong hand on player power? He's obviously going to need to be able to get a few new faces and be given time Very true and fair points. Just think Allegri or Rafa would be more suited to win trophies and get us up in the top 8 quicker.

Rafa my top choice and Allegri a very close second.

No one bought my old seat next to my dad after I chucked it after Rafa went and no one took it up on the free ticket scheme either. Desperate to get it back if/when this goes through. Pls.
