  1. 3 CBs on the pitch at 0-2 down but he takes ASM off for Carroll. Good god I hate him.
  2. Apparently regrets not taking the job here in 2009, dunno if that's pre or post Shearer, mind.

    Rafa Benítez

Would prefer Allegri or Pochettino if a takeover was to happen for the same reasons Disco put. Would love it if he came back regardless, mind.
  4. My dad is the same. My dad hates him too. For Supermac alone though. No idea what transpired to leading him being sold but he was my dad's first hero.
  5. There was no trust in the club at all. So fans didn't buy any. Even though SJH and the Magpie Group were involved with the board then?
  6. NUFC daft question here; Mainly come to mind due to reading the On This Day section of .com, the share issue that the club did in 1990(?) or around that dark era, why and how did it fail? Genuinely interested as there's no real sources on it online.

    Jeff Hendrick

Offers nothing. Gives off PTSD-inducing Colback vibes.
  8. Ba got 16 in 11/12, and 13 in the part of 12/13 before he was sold to Chelsea. Remy got 14 in 13/14, no one's got that high since.
  9. Ings may be out, Bruce's luck knows no bounds. Play like we did during the second half today and we've got a chance of getting a decent result. 1-1.
  10. ASM through the middle doesn't work. Still should've scored mind, should've hit that across the keeper.
  11. (He was replying to a mackem saying we haven't beat them since the 5-1)
  12. Yeah. Judging by how the few results we've seen go so far I can see the title being won with between 80 and 90 points instead the daft totals we've seen since Leicester won it.
  13. As I've lurked on the forum much more than I've posted the last year or so and have barely checked if at all checked this thread since August, what the fuck is going on? There's nothing on social media (which may well be a good thing) and I've thought this was completely done after PIF pulled out a few months ago.
  14. He gets caught narrow quite a lot and is obviously is better at going forward than he is defending even though he did alright yesterday. Needs help defensively, Brighton exposed him when he was left on his own. But I think he's got bags of potential. Would've been brilliant in Rafa's 3-4-3 in the back end of 18-19.
  15. Not going to write him off yet, but I’m still not sure what Lewis is supposed to be good at . He's much better going forward. Gets caught too narrow defensively a lot I've noticed.
  16. Absolutely this. I have just said the same thing. This is not a bad set of players. This is the best squad we've had since 2013-14, and we're awful due to the manager. Exact same issue with 2015-16 and McClaren.
  17. He's excellent at signing players and bringing youth through to the first team. Signed Coutinho and Suarez at Liverpool and brought along Sterling. Now at Leicester has signed Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans, Praet and now Castagne has also made use of some of their youth well too. Were so far behind them as a club now it's untrue. Dalglish signed Suarez.
  18. Wasn't great but not helped out by ASM at all which cost us 2 goals. Either the squad and staff didn't do their homework or ASM couldn't be arsed. Not that I'm I 'tRaCk BaCk MaN' patriot against players like ASM, HBA etc, but Lewis needed help there. Hope he's okay from that injury, fucking nasty.
  19. Eddie Howe was mentioned, I don’t think he’s the answer but I’d definitely take him. Better option than Bruce but nah, not the answer imo. No idea who is.
  20. Needs binning but who the fuck would take this job atm who's any good? We have a canny squad with a garbage manager.
