  1. Outside of 15 minutes either side of half time a bit of a poor performance, but good enough to win which is what matters. Reminiscent of Brentford (h) in 2023-24 tbh. Love that debut goal for Woltemade. Gerrin.
  2. The direct accusations of the club selling to third party sites, there’s obviously little proof of that, but the tone is right in that the whole thing absolutely reeks.

Hate cryptic horseshit like this. All for interactions and e-clout. Just spill the beans Bland, you twat.
  4. Absolutely bang on, every word.
  5. Did it with Isak and Tonali. Plus Botman started out 3 of the first 4 games after he signed.
  6. That plus an oil painting of Cuthbert Collingwood's Royal Sovereign sinking many a Spanish vessel at Trafalgar.
  7. Why’s that Serbian player wearing a hairband with a short back and sides?

So, he’s definitely injured and Woltemade is shit. This place has got me looking into bookings at Dignitas.
  9. Nah, I’ve got the jacket of that though. And I’ve the 1996-97 jumper with the 3 stripes over each shoulder. You’ll have seen me after the Lockwood you were at wearing one of them, can’t remember which.

    Zurück im Training.
  11. Wonder just how competitive the 'competitive salary' on nigh on all those jobs is.
  12. Kasper Hjulmand to take charge of Leverkusen.
  13. Obviously done a few days before going on international duty but
  14. Is not harsh on Dalglish as well? The club being floated as a PLC didn’t help with the transfer spend (though bringing in his old Liverpool mates Barnes and Rush amongst others didn’t help) but he did get to an FA Cup final as well as doing well with Keegan’s team in the games he had in 1996-97. Only lost twice in the league allowing us to get 2nd and therefore CL. Famous games under him too; 4-3 v Leicester, 5-0 v Forest, 3-2 v Barca. Someone who was alive for his tenure could probably correct me.
  15. I do also admit that 2012-13 was the start of the diminishing of the club and of expectations, setting in stone Ashley’s modus operandi of never challenging for anything. Not the cups, not Europe, nowt. Just stay in the league at minimal cost and fuck everything else off as anything else increases the chances of injuries therefore relegation. That was down to Pardew’s shtick that season and Ashley bought it. And a lot of the fans did as well.
  16. The second half of 2013-14 was as bad as the worst of 2012-13. Whilst nowt comes close to the 0-6 (worst experience I’ve ever had watching us, that), the second mackem 0-3 and 0-4 defeats at home to Sherwood’s Spurs and Moyes’ Man Utd were tragically bad. The first mackem 0-3 in 2012-13 whilst dreadful was 3 counter attacks and 3 strikes from outside the box. Plus we had an equaliser wrongfully disallowed. 2015-16 may have been a slightly inferior squad but that team going down is indefensible. Benitez showed the bones of a decent side were there from the Swansea win onwards. Additionally, the 0-1 loss at home in the League Cup to Sheffield Wednesday who made 10 changes and the 0-3 loss at home to Leicester (following that up with a 5-1 loss to Pardew’s Palace) were as bad as anything served up under Pardew.

    Deutschland ist Scheiße.
  18. And Ramsey tbh. Joelinton can’t stay injury free for more than half a season.
  19. Schar and Botman in 2022-23 were imperious. Joint best defence in the whole league that season with Man City who won the title.
  20. Personally didn’t enjoy watching a single match of ours until November.
