Urgh. Was ready to celebrate like a mad bastard.

Nar, don't even...fuck off man
-
Thank fuck that was offside, how'd you not score there ffs...

If we win I'll cry.

Did he? Abusing your own players in our situation Aye criticise them in the pub or whatever but not at the ground or directly including their social media accounts in abuse online. It's vehemently pathetic.

Even that's been poor since the Brighton defeat. It's odd because he was fantastic vs West Ham, got a goal, aye they're s**** but a good performance should be praised on its merits. He was good at Swansea, unlucky not to score from a header which the keeper pulled off an outstanding save to keep out. He should've had a hattrick vs Stoke but at least he was finding the space and getting into the right positions. Since Brighton though, he's been dog s***. I disagree, I think he links play quite well, nice little lay offs and chest downs and such. He gets stick more because he's hopeless when he sees the whites of the posts, and starts ahead of Mitro IMO. Maybe I was being a tad harsh on him, but he was a disgrace on Saturday so I can see why people are questioning Rafa not dropping him.

Really hope he does.

Neither did I but I can respect Rafa's judgement, he obviously likes his link up play or something. Maybe he likes his passport and country of birth When were Ayoze Perez, Jesus Gamez and Javi Manquillo handed Geordie citizenship?

Because it is.

Wish Douglas and Ryder would stop with this fucking teasing.

Ashley is a petty man with a thin skin. I believe he'd rather 'win' an argument with someone like Rafa, rather than see past it and do whats best for him financially. Rafa's words yesterday will have upset him. So will have his words post QPR last season and his patter in the summer. And he's still here. As if he'd get sacked ffs.

. As ridiculous as this probably sounds to many, I'd even take a negative change at this moment in time. Break the monotony, highly likely to be more susceptible to external pressures than Ashley and worst case of two steps back for one forward. We're going nowhere fast with this shithouse. Think it's really hard to have a negative chance from Ashley tbh. The bloke is a cancer on this football club and on it's fans which needs to be cut out. In terms of the actual change, I believe it's PCP or no one.

A win here could put us as high as 9th and on 17 points. Pressure relief that would give would be huge.
-
We could've easily drawn or even won those 3. Fine margins going against us. Sure we'll get a rub of the green soon. No excuses for Watford though, it was a disgusting excuse of a performance.

Because negative news re: this club is usually close to the mark unfortunately. I have zero faith in Ashley to do the right thing here. I think it'll happen. It makes no financial sense for Ashley for it not to. And money is all he cares about. He's a vile, horrible c*** who doesn't give a s**** about anybody, yes, but surely he can't throw this away or it's curtains for getting any sale for north of £300m. An absolute dire day at SJP on Saturday doesn't change that. From what I've read about Ashley, in the retail/corporate world, he never concedes ground/compromises - it's about winning the deal. He's as pig-headed as they come. That's what will scupper any sale, if it happens imho. There's a magic figure in his head, and he just won't meet anybody in the middle. If he wants anything close to his figure (his figure exactly he won't get) he has to sell now. If not he'll lose more money. Trying to "win" the deal knowing the odds are stacked against "winning" it and refusing to meet in the middle risking buyers walking makes no financial sense. None whatsoever. I really do understand the scepticism but Murphy's law getting applied as soon as things go begin to go wrong on the pitch I don't get. We know after the summer we had we'd have days like Saturday. Rafa knew it. Douglas said so on the most recent TF podcast that Rafa knew it and said so off the record, and he tried to reiterate it in the press conference yesterday. Lets be honest, both Ashley and Staveley would have discussed a rough outline of price, terms etc before the public bid. Has Ashley moved the goalposts? He has history. If not, then you'd think in the 11 (or more) days since the bid that there might have been some movement and an agreement reached. It could just be taking it's time, but I think it's best to expect the worst at this point in time. Rafa didn't suddenly decide to talk about how "things could get worse in January" because he feels a sale is coming. No it's not, because I'll feel like utter s**** if I did, imo there's no reason to do so. He decided to talk about it due to the fans imo. Plus he didn't look as angry as he did post QPR last season or during the summer. If you don't think that and think it's an address to Ashley, we'll agree to disagree on that one.
