This thread would be the EUROPALEAGUEOMETER. 0. Think it's been clear since the Man Utd win that we weren't going down.
-
Milan doing well at Juve so far. Think Allegri's got the team selection wrong here tbh.
-
He was an outstanding footballer; kind of player I'm more than happy to pay money to watch and it was a privilege to see some of the goals he scored and little bits of flair live. Who fucking cares if he didn't track back. Players like him I love watching. Same goes for players like Douglas Costa, another player I love watching. It's why I hold Ben Arfa in such high regard anyway.

Same. Think we'll get the job done. 2-0 to us.
-
I'd argue the need for another centre back. If Lascelles is injured, defensively we're a mess.

Whilst all of that is true - Ashley wont see past the fact that we’ve survived relegation. In his eyes, it will have been an overwhelming success and further evidence that he doesn’t need to spend millions of pounds on players whilst we have Rafa. Infuriating but most definitely true. Suppose it hinges on the potential of a takeover.

We could've been in and around 7th fighting for a potential Europa League place had we had a capable striker; Swansea at home, Burnley at home, Brighton at home, Bournemouth at home, Bournemouth away, even Palace away (we had a break which we really should've scored from at the very start of the 2nd half at 0-1). There's a collective 13 points dropped due to the squandering of many scoring opportunities. Goes to show how good a job Rafa is doing this season and how fucked over he's been in the transfer market.

Fratelli d'Italia is class, like. And Insigne. Quality footballer. One of my favourite players in Serie A.

Will be a sub at best on Saturday.

Really? I'm sick of seeing us go there and suffer drab 1-0 defeats every bloody time.
-
Great video, enjoyed that. Definitely Copa90's best series. Also liked the video they did on Napoli from a few years ago now.
-
Aye, fair enough. Just always had a hunch that we'd get a brilliant result in the Arsenal game.
-
It's an obvious mackem. The post is just ill informed, unmitigated horseshite.
-
7 points from our next 4 seems doable taking us to 39 points going into the WBA game.
-
Ben Arfa v Bolton. His goal v Blackburn in the FA Cup is up there as well. Ritchie v Man United this season I went bloody mental at.
-
Watching that video, nowt's changed. 5 years after that was filmed though we were finishing 3rd in the PL. Here's hoping something similarly great happens to this club soon.
-
The Geordies are soooo big headed, ah hate them sur much, Steve Bull scored 4 against them in probably the worst era that they've ever endured which just shows how big headed they are.
-
If you go on Sky Sports' website and look at the list of changed games, the amount of asterisks, man. Loads of fans of away clubs can't plan anything for definite for weeks.
-
You'd expect them to come back and at the very least finish in the top 6 in League 1 next year. Will be a very long time until they're back in the PL, though.
-
Seems to be that way. Brentford & Brighton away last season. This season, Brighton and Southampton away both moved to Sunday 4pm kick offs, 12(?) of our 19 away games so far moved for TV. Now this. Really do hope there's a reimbursement for fans who have already booked trains/flights/hotels from either the PL, broadcasters or the club. Wouldn't hold my breath though, given the former two are greedy, vile pricks and the club are tight over Jet2 flights to Spain.
-
They think they're some sort of embodiment of the north east or something. Bless them.

The exact date not being announced until April now. They have postponed fixtures due to FA Cup commitments, initially saying they will be announced 19 March. Instead of setting dates for/picking for TV these midweek matches they mess about with currently scheduled matches for which they already announced the TV picks for in late February. It's an absolute disgrace, man. You have to laugh at how bad it is. Feel really bad for Paully and other lads & lasses who were planning on going down there next month.
