  1. Finding it boring more than despairing or annoying at this point.
  2. Send him to and have talks in David Platt’s mother in law’s house.
  3. A million percent, this. The message selling Isak to Liverpool sends is just too appalling to comprehend even with incomings.
  4. If he signs, looking forward to the incredibly inventive chant our fans come up for him which will be his name repeated to the tune of Seven Nation Army.
  5. Surely this gets done? Be another W for Eddie Amin/Chairman Howe/Josip Broz Tithowe/Enoch Howell.
  6. This Habsburg realm nonce turned us down yet?

    Marc Guehi

#scouting Already scored twice for us last season, like.
  8. Feel similar. Was putting together the videos for pre match threads just now and it actually stings seeing Isak in so many of the recent ones and made me think I should just sack it off for this season. If he goes I won't be able to watch them. If Sesko/Ramos/whoever come in and are class that'd soften the hurt significantly but fuck me.
  9. It’s got the exact same back 4 that Villa tore apart in April. Gordon coming in for Isak is the only outfield change from that day in fact.
  10. Was just saying this to the lads in the pub.
  11. Think they’re just trying to get Isak to formally hand in a transfer request. Trying to force our hand. Shouldn’t deal with them under any circumstances after this. Not just because of the wider message selling Isak to them sends but because of how they’ve acted throughout this whole thing.
  12. Would massively help Villa out too as I imagine they’re in a bit of PSR bother. They’ll demand a big fee for a 29 year old and be able to replace him with someone good and much younger.
  13. He refused to play away at Man City and didn’t appear in any matchday squads until Fulham at home on 31st August when he came off the bench. Was then in the team and played his best football for us before he was sold at the end of January.
  14. Looking forward to the media day thing when the players have to have their pictures taken for graphics on TV. Odds on him looking like that infamous Sissoko pic?
  15. It’s all here if you’d like some more misery; https://archive.ph/2025.07.31-160302/https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14959181/Newcastle-United-transfers-Isak-Trafford-CRAIG-HOPE.html
  16. Hope saying Guehi is unlikely at best, CB isn’t being explored atm and Strand Larsen ( ) is another striker name.
  17. He would for me but that depends on the game/opposition assuming both were fit, which is why we need to be building a squad. Against bigger sides in the PL and CL, Joelinton goes in for me. Against lesser sides whom we may need something extra to break down, that'd be when Paqueta comes in.
  18. He would, like. Joelinton has missed 29 games in the last 2 seasons for one.
  19. Think he’s just the kind of CM we need; think we need a different option in the middle.
  20. After Cabaye refused to play we got the best 4 months of form from him after. I’ve lost loads of respect for Isak (not that he’d care like ) and this whole saga stings as I bloody loved the lad, loved his nonchalant-ness on top of how good he is. Been at the centre of my most favourite recent memories following us; cup final, Everton away and that assist, the brace and last minute pen at Forest, the Spurs 6-1. The most ideal scenario now for me is he stays, he gives us a great run of form again and we shake hands and move him on abroad in January or next summer.
  21. He was holding the England job over people’s heads prior to Mitchell coming in at the outset of pre season last year, some of his comments were Benitez-esque iirc.
  22. Our best transfer windows after the January 2022 one were with Ashworth and Howe together at the helm. Been a mess since the former left. Fuck you, Manchester United.
