Watched that whole match with me fatha last year. Just relentless, attack after attack. That it was only 3 is a joke. Also fewmin at that incorrectly disallowed Ferdinand goal.

Aye, just got an email. I've applied.

Howe has been class for us for over 2 years now. You don't become a bad manager overnight or over the course of a spell of poor games. He'll get us back on track, if we were ever off track to begin with. Desperately need midfield options back sharpish, the current midfield 3 doesn't work and is probably our biggest achilles heel but we have no one else. More so an issue than Burn's recent form imo. Fully expect us to be one of the busiest clubs in the summer where he can properly shape us with the Adidas and CL money kicking in on the books.

Liked the Len White banner. An incredibly underappreciated figure in our history. Is still my granddad's favourite ever player of ours, remarked at the Man Utd game at home last season that he has never enjoyed watching a striker as much as him. Though Isak ran him pretty close. Similar playstyles apparently. Gutted there's next to no footage of him. -
Matz Sels clean sheet as well imo.

Billing sent off. Be banned for the game against us in 2 weeks.

Lush finish. De Bruyne-esque. Good to have him back.

Well that was a mental game of football yesterday. Went from being one of the worst games I've ever been to to potentially being one of the best and ended up being neither. Thought if we'd get it to 4-4 we'd go on and win the game. But like Luton did at 2-4 we seemed to sit off at 4-4 instead. They pressed us brilliantly throughout the game and we didn't seem to press much at all. Odd one. Think the crowd shouting for Livramento at 2-4 is a line in the sand now. Their number 7 was rinsing Burn from minute 1. Howe's got to realise that he can't start Burn going forward. Negative part of me; 10 goals conceded in the last 3 home games. 7 of those to Forest and Luton. What the fuck? Positive part of me; would've taken taken 4 points from Villa away and Luton at home. We've just taken them in the most illogical way possible. Would also have taken 7 points from Luton, Forest and Bournemouth. 1 in, 6 to go.

Need to be taking points from fixtures like the next 3 we have regardless, like. But aye. Just really want Europa League. Lightyears more prestigious than the Conference League, another path into the CL and a reasonable chance of winning the thing.

Get yasel in the away end every bloody match. @Danh1

7 points from the next 3 and a Europe chase is definitely on for me.

He was blowing out his arse within 10 minutes of coming on. Likely still suffering with that illness but if he has to play, play him on the left. Hitting crosses early first time like he did for the third could become a real asset for us.
-
That's the best away win under Howe.

Absolutely magnificent performance from back to front so far. Was on cloud 9, then saw Isak down and back to being suicidal again. Please see this through, lads.

That period (COVIDball in the delayed end of 2019-20 and start of 2020-21) was my own personal NUFC supporting nadir. Actively chose not to watch that match at a time when there was nothing to do anyway with it being lockdown*. Football in general was dead to me in that time more or less. Only ever watched us out of a sense of duty later in the season. *Sort of. Kinda. I think. Was it the failed tier system then?

Potentially a 4th 5th Round tie against Blackburn in the last 11 times we've been at this stage.
-
Nice, but away again ffs.

No replays from 5th round onwards.
