Me holding my first pint of Guinness on a match day when my diet has ended.

I think Pardew is positive about the club because he knows that in normal circumstances he should not have been anywhere near the job, especially when he actually got it. He’s proud of the fact he’s managed us due to that imo and tbh, I do give him kudos for not perpetuating the bollocks about the club and fans in the media that those such as Souness and others involved with the club have done since their time here ended. He could well have done especially after the SP protests. However, I just can’t forget or forgive the belittling of the club he partook in. ‘We can’t compete against Swansea and Southampton’ being one that’s always stuck in my mind. The second half of 2013-14 was until Bruceball during COVID my NUFC nadir even at 13 year old. The 0-3s against the mackems and the 0-6 to Liverpool, engrained scars on me that he was an enormous part of.

In the ground for the disallowed one, my arms went up in celebration but froze in a split second as I saw the flag go up in front of me as we were in the lower bit but also saw a few rows in front and a bit along someone's chips go flying up in the air.

Is the full match available to watch anywhere on demand? Can only find highlights and forgot to record it.

Still in disbelief personally I think. Been mostly stoic when all I went to the final with were in tears at FT. Don’t think it’s actually sunk in at all.

On way home now, what a weekend.

PSG fan with a megaphone.

PSG have been excellent. Probably the best team I’ve watched this season.

Hope Tino is watching Nuno Mendes here.

PSG play some lush stuff.

Because many have ‘had this seat for 6 trillion years’ and ‘always sat and won’t be told what to do’.

Big win, that. Decent looking next 6 PL fixtures after the international break too.
-
Big win, wins like that are the ones that matter most at the end of the season. That was a tough watch though, again. Need a huge improvement to stand any chance on Sunday. Trippier MOTM for me.

Yep, but only lost 2 to Liverpool and Man City, playing well in both games.

We were much better last time. We were good and unlucky against Liverpool with 10 men for most of it, should’ve beat Palace away, Wilson missing a few chances against West Ham at home. Bar 45 minutes against Forest we’ve been frankly pitiful recently.

Murphy’s attempt at a pass there. This is pitiful. Come on, man.

We’ve shaded it but the game as a whole seems like it’s being played at a pre season pace. These are there for the taking but need a goal to show for it. Have next to zero cutting edge these days in open play.
