  1. Well that's a bit of a pain for me. My dad won't get to as many games this season, especially the midweek ones, so I get the bus from the bottom of CLS to town for games. Could always walk up to Barley Mow/Birtley, but sod that.
  2. That Magpie Mover thing, it's not available to use in Chester-le-Street is it? Can't remember, but I don't think it is. Which is a right pain for me personally. I think this would be the right place to ask this.
  3. I know that the "Sir Bobby Robson stand" has been mentioned. I'm for that tbh.
  4. That the same Aluko who scored the volley in off the post when Hull beat us 2-3 at SJP under the King?
  5. Going back to this, I've found a forum on where the guy made these graphics/models of a SJP with extended Gallowgate End and East Stand. If the Gallowgate was extended, it would take the capacity to 61,188. And, although it's pretty much impossible due to the listed buildings behind it, if the East Stand was extended also, the capacity would be taken to 81,219. Thought it was a quite interesting discussion.
  6. 2001-02 if you count the Intertoto Cup as pre-season. If not, then 1995-96. We lost Rob Lee's testimonial didn't we? Aye. 0-1. Don't know whether to count a testimonial as pre-season though.
  7. It's been pointed out on Twitter that the 4 goals we've conceded pre-season have all been set pieces.
  8. 2001-02 if you count the Intertoto Cup as pre-season. If not, then 1995-96.
  9. Some in the Gallowgate trying to do the Icelandic clap thing.
  10. SWFC fans fewmin on Twitter over the fact we're linked with Forestieri. https://twitter.com/pthorley/status/759004834783567872
  11. Knockaert would be fantastic. As would Forestieri. Doubt we'll be able to land the latter though. Sheff Wed will be adamant to keep him.
  12. Yeah I would have said 47-48k would be about right. For some reason I just expected this match to be a certain sell out (it might be yet) but I suppose looking back at when we were last in the Championship we started with a 37k crowd v Reading and even by mid March when we were cruising at the top of the league we only pulled in 39k against Scunthorpe. In fact our only sell out that season was the final game against Ipswich when we were presented with the Championship trophy. I'd imagine the games such as the Leeds game will sell out.
  13. Why Wolves? Their new owner? Signings?
  14. Besides us, who's going to be battling for promotion this season? Norwich, Brighton, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Villa, Brentford and Cardiff? Because I can't recall many clubs being in the race last time we were down there aside from West Brom. Probably because we just ran away with it, like.
