  1. It’s Stone Island. Really pricey gear but been associated with hooligans/loving a scrap since the 80s. Same with the likes of CP Company. Still popular today with fans who don’t wear colours at games.
  2. First 50 minutes of that game were hilarious iirc. We missed 3 or 4 gilt edged chances in the first half. Could’ve been 6, before reverting to type. ‘This job should come with a health warning.’ No Steve, you’re just a fat cunt.
  3. Assuming they hold on here, think it’ll be really tough to catch Forest if we don’t get owt on Monday.
  4. If it's another increase on general admission by 5% also, think I'll pack in going to most home games next season. Be about £70 a ticket for where I usually or aim to sit. It's already too much as is. Ah well. Helps PSR though, right?
  5. 15% increase in 3 years. Done with 5% each year with the "oooh we have to do this for PSR I'm afraid." Absolutely lifting, especially when West Ham and Liverpool have frozen theirs.
  6. Yet another price increase and blaming it on PSR. Get to fuck.
  7. Mackem north east geography goes as follows; - If you were not born in NE1 and reside there or the less affluent areas of the west end (so they can point fun at them) then you are not a Geordie. See their claims as an example that Sam Fender is not a Geordie as he is from North Shields. - Any Newcastle fans living in parts of County Durham or Tyne & Wear equidistant between the two rivers are plastics who never go to games. They switched allegiances in 1992 or 2021 as Kevin Keegan or MbS went around door knocking handing out free Sky dishes or dodgy boxes whilst declaring the North Sea was retreating so it was okay to support Newcastle. - The bridges over the Tyne: all of them are in Gateshead. None of them are in Newcastle. I feel like there’s a few more that I’ve missed but can’t remember them off the top of my head.
  8. Their geography obsession never ceases to amaze me. Looking at the north east and designating which towns et al are MLF strongholds as if it’s a Total War map. Utterly mental.
  9. Tickets arrived. No names on them or owt. Entry time slots? Woke.
  10. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11182061/west-ham-2-3-newcastle-magpies-end-nine-game-winless-run-to-move-out-of-relegation-zone
  11. Fully agree with every word. Like I said yesterday, I don’t enjoy watching us at all these days and that is the biggest indictment of all given I was excited like a frothing lunatic on matchdays from post-January 2022 up to this season. Even though we were shite away from home last season I still looked forward to every home game. This season like you say, something’s just off. The biggest contributor being inability to sign players but tactically, performance-wise, atmosphere-wise, almost everything about this season has been flat as fuck outside of that 9 game run or whatever it was.
  12. They take a mile and give back an inch, yet people slap them on the back for it. Like the initial ballot system they were going to implement in summer 2023 after already flogging memberships and people were buying them under the pretence that it’d be similar to usual only for it to be a ballot for anywhere in the ground where you could be put in Leazes L4 or the Platinum Club and be charged that area’s rate for a ticket even if you didn’t want to sit there. They then allowed people pick the seating category and despite the system still being total dogshit people applauded it. ‘Tha listening to wah! Our owners, man. 🖤🤍’ Similar problems remain despite them doing a split between ballot and the old system which still hasn’t solved the atmosphere problem.
  13. Loads around me were sat down for the Isak pen. Utterly bizarre.
  14. Wish we could. Been chatting about it with the lot I go to games with; the number of games I’ve genuinely enjoyed from start to finish this season is in well single figures and a bulk of them were away. TBH, I’ve also enjoyed the away games I’ve been at this season more than the homes and not just because of the results. Something just isn’t right atm.
  15. TBPH, I’ve not enjoyed this season at all. Even most of the games we’ve got points in I’ve found labourious to watch at the best of times. Whether that’s being spoiled or not I don’t know but I find watching us a chore these days. The entire club from playing staff to fans need a huge refresh in the summer.
  16. We’ve been dogshit for the overwhelming majority of 2025. Inability to refresh the squad playing the biggest part in that but too many times this season I’ve had no clue what the hell the plan or set up is. Especially at home.
  17. Out the FA Cup, Gordon out of the final, continuing the trend of being dross in 2025. A Sunday afternoon well spent imo.
  18. Same. Weren't booed, but me and my dad got to our row and blokes spoke up to me dad 'awh that's done a lot, we're getting beat now lads' as West Ham scored on the minute of the walk-in. From there on in my dad didn't want to bother with any more protests.
  19. A good shout and one that did enter my mind but the Huddersfield game that season, given the scale of importance of it, edges it for me. We were in total control of the game despite only having 23% of the ball if that makes sense. Totally stifled them. Getting 7 points from Brighton, Huddersfield and Reading all away in a week was superb that season. Howe's got a few, the Spurs game at home last season a shout. Arsenal away when we got a 0-0 draw wasn't exactly a masterclass as we didn't win the game but the way he adjusted how we were set up after we were getting overrun in the first 15-20 minutes to hardly conceding even a half chance for the rest of the game was impressive. The Arsenal home cup game this season too. Remember reading through an analysis at the time of when we beat Chelsea 1-0 just before the World Cup break at SJP and a subtle but clear when you notice it tactic was baiting Chelsea's midfielders into the middle to allow a spare man in the space behind. Can't remember the exact details but shit like that I find proper interesting.
  20. https://archive.ph/XIp37 I'll be amazed if Ruud is still there after the international break. Nah, actually I won't be, given the absolute state of the way that club is run.
  21. Benitez; Huddersfield away March 2017 in the Championship.
  22. Maybe the game hasn’t completely gone just yet.
  23. And the 'please can I have your shirt' things bairns hold up. Utter WOKE nonsense.
  24. The level of cringe I've just felt. My word.
