The fact that is such a good point just heightens my anger.

Classy.

Can't even rub in his own lotion. Footballers can fuck off.
-
There's no reason to dislike him, either. So the fact he played for us is enough.
-
He could easily get double figures on a regular basis, in the PL.

I can't help but note that in this report (and when they first reported it) they totally completely skip over that the PL are being called corrupt by fans, that that hashtag is trending, and why it is felt that they are corrupt. Can't put it down to libel either as all they would be reporting on is what is being posted. I love the BBC, but this is just lip service. Why would the BBC report completely evidence-less accusations of corruption aimed at the Premier League from randoms on Twitter? It would be an absurd thing to write. "Twitter user MBSIZOURKING tweeted 'Masters ur a corrupt Qatari cunt m8 fuck off!11'" They're forever reporting shite accusations on twitter.

Aye. Negotiations tend to unfold quicker when they run along the lines of; "Just fill in the salary and sign at the bottom"

Problem there is that you can't make a deal contingent on something not legal. Which is why Staveley's quotes can't be taken at face value. What were the exact quotes, anyway? EDIT "Country" in that context clearly means government, and is confirmed in the second sentence I guess it would depend on what they actually said, and not what Staveley said, on reflection.

you have to bear in mind that after tax he'll only get about 278k. you can barely buy a house for that, these days.

This is very true. It's impossible to ignore it completely. I wish I could. Accept the club is dead . Act accordingly . So you joined up here after the deal was said to be off just to tell people to give it up. f***ing weirdo. Im giving my point of view as regards what we can do thats most effective in getting rid of Ashley - you can agree or disagree but theres nothing weird about having a different piint of view - maybe a bit weird to insult people for having a different opinion from your own though but . And as been pointed out, not everyone can just ignore the club completely. I'm not sure that is even possible, if you are a supporter of any kind of team/sport etc, to just all of a sudden ignore it's whole existence and not "care" I dunno. Maybe if the PL continue to completely ignore us for the next year we'll forget we exist.

Liverpool done the same and look where it got them. It staggering the amount of we cannot win so why bother in the mass population over the way corporations treat us not just in football. The trouble is nobody contests the concept, they simply get a bee in their bonnet when it affects them, personally.

I may be wrong, but i just assumed the NUST would mobilise a credible push for answers more than anything else. What you have suggested is fantasy and I hope no one joins in that belief. Question is, if 10,000 sign up under that belief will NUST care. I doubt it. Well those 10,000 will - NUST is the constituent of its parts - one member, one share, one vote. If you are a member and unsatisfied stand on that ticket for election to the board at the next election (happens every year), give up all of your spare time for free and try and make a difference. If members vote for NUST to protest outside the PL building will NUST do that ? The AGM won't be for a while so that might be a little late - and that would be a strange thing to vote on at an AGM. All PL staff are working from home btw. If it would be a strange thing to vote for at the AGM why is the date of the AGM relevant?
