Surely the only thing that would get there attention would be everyone cancelling their Sky and BT sports packages in protest, which considering we can't even empty out the stadium for one game seems unlikely to happen. I've cancelled mine anyway, back to streaming sites for me. If everybody had cancelled their subscription, in protest of Ashley, the PL would have passed this overnight.

I wonder if his earlier anger was in any way fuelled by the idea that Ashley was leaving. It would be a small consolation [although I'm still not sure how I felt about the takeover] to think of Bruce arse kissing his way back in.

Yeah, we desperately need reform of football club ownership. Things that mean this much to communities shouldn't be the playthings of random billionaires, it's completely wrong. He would've been scheming, conspiring and manipulating his side of the deal right the way through this process imho. The only thing guaranteed with that fat cunt is that all he'll care about is his best interests. There is even less chance of Mauriss passing the test so he won't be getting any extra cash off him. But he'd get a 2nd non-returnable deposit out of it. He could be £35million up and still own the club. And it would only cost the Qataris £17milion to upset the Saudi apple cart. ha he would not get the deposit if he pulled out the sale man I never mentioned him pulling out. If the Saudis are outbid they may well pull out. As I was typing they've done just that.
