My reply to the several slating him after Huddersfield away. We've got a serious player on our hands here.

Really encouraging for a 21 year old's debut. A lot of posts here seem to underestimate the ability to constantly be in a space to receive/want the ball. He was our go-to player whenever we had possession and wasn't fazed at all when he had 2-3 Hudds players hustling him. That's really promising considering he's only trained with this squad for what 3-4 weeks? Once the understanding improves with our forward thinking players I'm certain he'll be playing intelligent forward passes too. Fans calling him 's***' may as well give up with watching football. If you don't see that he's got huge potential and is worlds apart from Colback you'll never understand the game.

We usually do press conferences the day before a game, so it'll be tomorrow. It'll be today, 1pm at an educated guess. PL press conferences never on a Saturday.

Yeah, interested in Adama Traore

I think hanging on every word he says is unnecessary paranoia. It is what it is. We need to enjoy it while he is here and do what he's pleading the fans to do every time he speaks in public; support the team, stick together. It will actually increase the pull for him to stay if he sees a loyal connection between fans and team. It's either this situation with Rafa or a yes-man who accepts low fee gambles from France and doesn't get any targets he personally wants? Rafa's politics win hands down lets all be honest.

Shelvey 11/2 with skybet to make the World Cup squad.

Can't be that close they're heading up to SJP on the wrong day

A lack of rumours doesn't mean a lot. Merino story was linked by a Spanish outlet in the morning, he was pictured in Newcastle that afternoon.
-
Question, do you see Brighton and Huddersfield struggling to score goals as well? Or not? I raise the point as we scored 11 more than Brighton last season and 29 more than Hudds.
-
Looking very promising pre season. So comfortable on the ball but does the dirty work as well.
-
Exactly this. Hundreds of millions from Sky money at stake. Rafa will use every resource possible to him to ensure survival this season.
-
The usual 1 in 1 out situation? Gray? Slimani? Another out the blue?

5k in a morning, swim, 5k in an evening. Not shabby

Of all the links who would your two preferences be? (realistic) Loftus-Cheek loan and Jacob Murphy for around 10mil would be mine.
-
So basically the agent is going to Sunderland via a change at Newcastle train station to sort the Galloway move out
-
It's probably been mentioned on previous pages but: We signed Gayle and Ritchie this time last year. Sunderland are close to McGeady and Hugill
-
Am I missing something - where are the minutes on that link?
-
Is it happening? Finally!

Pre-Season 2018/19: Newcastle United 0 - 1 FC Augsburg (FT)

No Darlow/Mitro/Murphy? -
Who do you genuinely trust journo wise?
-
Point taken. Being genuine, though, whilst it wouldn't set the pulse racing - Huddlestone at just 2mil in today's market would make sense. Bit of a Murphy in the champ type signing.

1 in 38 in two seasons of pro football as a number 9. Genuinely reckon I could shin one in and match that The bloke is a millionaire ffs.

Better than colback is usually the argument that gets bought up with every CM we are linked with so I will put it in early. see above
