  1. I see the principle of your point. However, with all of this there’s never a right way, so it’s always about trying to find some kind of acceptable compromise. What’s being discussed seems to just about do that IMO.
  2. But if tickets become transferrable to members, you’re a member so theoretically it gives you a better chance of obtaining one.
  3. We had a good old go at completely disinterested Ekitike.
  4. A degree of common sense appears to have been applied. A rare thing indeed when it comes to ticketing!
  5. Do I think PIF have sanctioned multi-million pound business decisions based on completely made up Twitter rumours? Nah.
  6. I believe tonight is related to away tickets only
  7. I couldn’t make it so didn’t bother applying. Given both NUST and NUSC have people there we should get a fairly comprehensive round up over what gets said. Although looking at the various Twitter ‘discussions’ I don’t hold out too much hope of sensible debate as everyone seems absolutely entrenched in whatever position they support. Although having said that people do tend to be a bit more reasonable in face-to-face discussions, so you never know.
  8. If Mr Harrison Snr is reading, welcome.
  9. He seemed to link pretty well with Gordon in the U21 Euros. Wonder if they’re mates? Eddie needs to be getting on to AG to be doing some tapping up if so.
  10. MGW would be fantastic. You’d think Forest would want a fortune though, even given their FFP issues. Doubt we would be the only one’s interested either.
  11. We may well sell one of them this window, maybe even two if the offers were really good, although can’t see it. Think it incredibly unlikely we sell all of them.
  12. Aye, in terms of Miggy, there’s probably no journo more reliable. So I’d say Jacobs is in the mud on this.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Unfortunately that’s not really possible, mainly due to the state Ashley left the squad in by the end of his time. People point out that he left us in a ‘good’ position FFP-wise in terms of us not having made big losses, so there was more financial room to play with. Whilst that’s obviously true, they rarely comment on the fact that for the last couple of years in particular, he seemed like he couldn’t be arsed to sell players as it was too much hassle to bring in replacements, so just hoyed new contracts at everyone. As a result, by the time of the takeover, we had very few ‘saleable’ assets within the squad, and we’re seeing the knock on effect now. Also couple that with he never gave a shiny shite about the academy the whole time he was here, so were miles behind the likes of Villa and Chelsea, in terms of getting FFP help from that.
  14. In his latest BBC podcast, Edwards says he expects him to be off on the summer.

    Joelinton

Should be back for the cup final then.

Sounds like Pritchard will be away in the summer. The only one that looked anything other than utter shite against us.
  17. So if he ends up and Man Utd and Man City are found guilty, I would expect Ten Hag to be hounded with questions at every press conference following any conviction.
  18. His presser on Friday is gonna be about three hours long the amount of stuff that’s coming out this week.
  19. From the summer onwards, yes, clearly. But for the rest of this season, they’ve probably made the decision to go with Murphy/Gordon, if it means getting another midfielder in.
  20. Unless we’re getting well over the odds, like Forest with Wood, we’ll only be selling now to fund a purchase in this window, obviously a midfielder rather than a replacement for Miggy.
  21. Just as he was getting the hang of the language as well… Be sad to see him go. Looking back he’s almost up there with Robert and Cisse for the amount outrageous goals he’s produced for us. But, alas, this is the way it works now. And we’ll always have that moment against PSG to remember.
