Ballot open Monday.

Depends on the capacity. It’s currently only about 45k I think, which would be roughly 2k and a bit for us. However they have applied to get it increased to 62k, so if that goes through in time, it should* mean we’re up to just over 3k. *I say should because I wouldn’t be completely surprised if they were allowed to increase capacity but not the away allocation due to fact renovation work is seemingly still ongoing.
-
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should…
-
Be interesting to see if they’re leaving member prices the same? If not, and they’re applying the same increase, £4 is just a bizarre, almost petty, amount.
-
Not to get into this again, because ultimately it’s totally pointless now they’ve (seemingly) been transparent about how things were done - but - they’ll just say the process was exactly the same, it was just the numbers involved that were different (which is probably the case, to a lesser extent, with every ballot). I appreciate you and others feel that significantly changing the numbers, is effectively changing the process, and I would encourage you to feed that back, but they obviously don’t, so it’s probably not worth becoming fixated on whether they have “lied”.

It sounds like they’re saying the muscle got damaged when he did the dead leg, and if he comes back before it’s fully healed, it’ll tear or summit.

We have Wissa. Tomatoe tomato.

Should be confirmed in a few hours

I reckon Man City need to put all their eggs in the CL basket and just sack off whatever game is immediately prior to Madrid away…
-
Personally I’d call it investing in your future.

It was Edwards that asked that question. Ryder asked if it was good having players that could play in different positions. A straightforward, if somewhat stupid, question, but he somehow managed to ask it in a way that required Eddie to clarify what he meant. Again.
-
Hopefully back for the 1st leg.

First English team to play in the new Nou Camp.
-
Supposedly putting some request in to get it up to 62k shortly. Unsure whether in time for our game like.
-
Dates confirmed by tonight.

Aye, it’s a very fine line. Brighton and Brentford do exactly the correct thing for them, because ultimately they’re never going to challenge the elite on a consistent basis. As long as they don’t get relegated, it doesn’t matter too much if they get a couple of dud replacements and drop off a bit for a few years. We’re in a different situation.
-
You have to be very careful. If anything, looking like you’re willing to sell your best players, probably increases the chances of other players wanting away. In terms of making things easier to get a replacement, we should have sold Isak earlier, but on the positive side we did look like we wanted to keep him, which sent a positive message to the other players about where we’re aiming to go.

Getting a bit Brighton and Brentford, wanting to sell our best players….
-
We’re W4 D1 L0 in the last five home games against them (and we should really have been out of sight at ht in the one draw). Granted our record at their place is equally as bad (actually a lot worse if you extend over a longer time period, but not sure that’s all that relevant given what’s happened to us).
-
Has it been confirmed anywhere? All I ever saw was “long-term” when he signed the last contract in 2024.
-
Missed out Bayern in the semi…
-
TBH I can’t work out whether I agree with it or not (setting aside the issue of the draw being pre-determined in the first place). If we ended up playing Bodo in the semi, you could argue we deserve the home second leg for finishing about 10 places ahead of them, but equally you could probably say they do for beating the teams they would have beat to get there.
-
Am I right in thinking that if we were to beat Chelsea/Barca and Atleti were to beat Spurs/Liverpool, they’d still have the second leg at home despite us finishing higher in the league than them?
