“If we’d gone on a run of 2 wins in 16 and he was fully committed to the job, no one would be calling for him to go.” That doesn’t sound like any current fanbase I’m aware of…

Cos she sweeps everything up?

Some random Polish teenager bagging a hatty.

They were hanging on like fuck against a 10-man Juventus. They’ve got some talented players and the away leg would be difficult for anyone. But looking at what I saw last night, they’d crumble away to a PL team, even Spurs.
-
I’d fancy Spurs to beat Galatasaray tbh. Wonder if any club has simultaneously been in the CL QF and also the relegation zone?
-
It was based the final positions in the league phase. So they finished 5th and 6th, which meant that if the playoff round went to form (which it has in this case), they would play 11th or 12th (PSG or us).

Still better value for money than Rivière.

Pen and a red for me like.

Morally it maybe does, yes. But factually, I can’t see how it does. However, still feels like we’re going round in circles due to semantics, which is never a riveting read.
-
Totally agree. That however doesn’t directly contradict what they said in that statement.
-
So it is semantics, because they didn’t say general admission tickets in the statement. They just said “same amount of ticket allocation”. Look, I’m with you that it’s all a bit shady. But if you want to take them to task about it, you have to try and pin them down to specifics and not give them an easy out.
-
We’re getting into semantics, which is a waste of time for everyone, but I suppose the point I’m making is that if anyone was to challenge the club on that statement and say it was false, they’d come back with the point I made. If they were asked if members had access to the usual number of standard/non-hospitality tickets, and they said that, well you could definitively say it wasn’t true.
-
And one of them was PSG…
-
Whether people can afford it is a different point entirely. The statement might be morally questionable, but it isn’t “lies” as such is it? That’s the point I’m making.
-
You’ve still got access to them though. Just for about 10/12 times the cost…
-
I sense the tiniest hint of resentment in than post 🤣

@HaydnNUFC got one. He may be using more devices than the touts and bots though…
-
Probably better if it’s Chelsea rather than Barca. Demand still gonna be high either way though.
-
True (bar the few hundred ST’s that went on sale post-takeover). But what’s the solution? Setting aside a quota for U25’s? I think West Ham did that recently, but then scrapped it for some reason. I also think the two transfers for “emergencies” was the clubs unofficial way of trying to allow in those that didn’t have an official route in.
-
Due to the amount of games this season, it’s been the best season since the takeover to be ‘building points’. Even if you started the season on zero, you could be up to about 5 or 6 now.
-
I think the former is more common than the latter. Also, despite the clampdown, there’s still quite a bit of going on other people’s tickets. Clearly nowhere near to the extent there used to be, but it still definitely goes on.
-
We don’t know they’re on our side until the draw on Friday do we?
-
Tbf around 20 points would have got you to the vast majority of away games this season.
