I think that a lot of it was so bleak, it didn’t much (see the Hayden one) to make you feel ‘euphoric’. I suppose if we start adding significance context to what we choose, there won’t be much from that era to make it.

I won’t have Shearer’s testimonial in personally. But I guess I’m thinking more moments that have given you that surge of euphoric joy, and that was obviously something different. You’ve got loads of the ones that I would have included like. Other’s I’d chuck in for discussion would be Cisse’s banana goal at Chelsea, Gutierrez at home to West Ham, Hayden’s last min winner v Chelsea. Oh, and obviously if we extended to 25 years, Bellamy at Feyenoord.

Feel like last night will have taken a huge amount out of us physically. Tonali, Hall and Tripps were all running on absolute fumes by the end. We really could do with some returnees (Tino, Miley, Woltemade), even if it’s just on the bench. On the positive side, them having an away trip to Madrid looming midweek is helpful (aye, we’ve got Barca as well like).
