  1. Think you may have misinterpreted whatever I’ve posted (or I’ve worded it extremely poorly which wouldn’t be unusual). To clarify, I’m not a ticket ITK, more a ticket saddo. But if I were to hazard a guess I’d say it’ll not really be much different to the normal away ticket process. So points. Probably the biggest question mark is to what happens if there’s any left when ST holder demand has been satisfied. Will be members but if they add any extra criteria like previous cup match purchase, is anyone’s guess.
  2. Highly unlikely if we’re following concussion protocol
  3. Will probably depend if we used a ‘concussion’ sub when Lascelles (was it him?) came on for him. If we did then he’ll not be allowed. If we didn’t then he probably would be although it might look a bit shady given the current feeling around head injuries.
  4. Felt like Southampton tried to match our intensity and pressing last week, which resulted in a lot of turnovers from both sides. Be surprised if they were that front-foot tonight

Never has the use of “maybe” done more heavy lifting
  6. Would never describe Ferdinand’s finishing as “clinical”. He was prone to some really bad misses, and his ball-striking, whilst sometimes explosive, was never consistent.
  7. Whilst I totally understand everybody’s concerns about not getting a midfielder in, there’s 18 (please God 19 ?) games left after tomorrow. It would be a risk to go with what we’ve got midfield-wise, but it’s only 18/19 games. If nobody comes in tomorrow it’ll be addressed in the summer. Yes, given where we are in the table, there’s potential to be bitten on the arse and lose out on a good opportunity, but in the grand scheme of things, 18/19 games won’t alter the long term future of the club, which is only going one way.
  8. Think the only one that rivals it is Man Utd in 96. Obviously wasn’t quite as do or die, but I think everyone felt in we won, that would probably be the title. Suppose Marseille in 04 as well, but with it being the first leg it wasn’t quite the same
  9. Yeah, feels unlikely he’ll sign an extension now, and doubt Leicester are in a financial position to let him get into the last 12 months, even if selling all the players you mentioned earlier.
  10. Anticipating him leaving (to someone, not necessarily Newcastle) in the summer?
  11. Free-kick at Leeds was arguably the catalyst for everything that’s followed. *granted it was piss poor goalkeeping to actually let it in
  12. Howe said he was similar to Shelvey, so if he’s ready in 10 days, you’d hope Targett is about the same, give or take.
  13. What the fuck are Forest gonna do if they get relegated!? Not our problem I suppose. Anyway, Shelvey. I reckon if his shot from inside his own half away at Shef Wed had gone in, it might have been the best Newcastle goal I’ve ever seen. But it hit the bar and we got beat. Kind of a summary of his time here in some ways.
