Agreed. The journey to the top is always better than the status quo of being at the top. That’s not to say you can’t have brilliant days when you’re an established top team, but right now EVERY win is great. A hard-fought, not that exciting, 1-0 home win over a mid-table team like Everton won’t feel like it did last week in 5 years time I suspect. That’s why I say we really need to savour the feeling at the moment, especially if you’re lucky enough to get to games, as it won’t always be like this.

Including pictures of the two players who absolutely won’t be there ?

And you’d think the fact there’s no European games during this period would actually make things easier than has been the case for the last couple…

Communication on this issue is dreadful from all involved
  9. Palace tickets on general sale this morning. About 2k left in lower bowl, then L7 will get opened. Will be plenty to go round so good chance for non-ST holders/members to get to a game.
  10. Great to hear. Always tickets available from returns the week of the game. Just need a bit of luck in terms of being free to try and get them whenever they happen to come out.
  11. They managed to not have a single shot in the 30 mins plus that was left after they went behind to Spurs. DCL will give them a lot more potency if he’s anywhere near fit mind.
  12. The atmosphere before and for the first ten minutes. The celebration of Wilson’s was probably better than the likes of the last minute winners against Norwich and Chelsea. Obviously everything got deflated pretty quickly and the last half hour was fairly awful in some ways. Bang on about the Dier goal though. It was down the opposite end to me and i wasn’t actually sure it had gone in due to the lack of celebration from players and fans (that were left)

    Fixtures (2022/23)

No, it didn’t ? Anybody’s guess now tbh. Could be tomorrow, could be another week or two ??‍♂️
  14. Probably both but definitely worth calling the box office both mornings and asking. And even if they fob you of keep checking online throughout the day
  15. In all likelihood there’ll be some tickets going on resale at the Box Office Mon/Tues. You’ll have to be quick/lucky to get some mind

Surely something like this keeps everybody happy https://www.marketingweek.com/ee-and-wembley-confirm-ground-breaking-sponsorship/ Probably a few million down on any outright naming deal, but if it means you can actually get a phone signal in the ground…
  17. How you supposed to go watch Blyth/Consett/South Shields or whoever at 3pm then make it in to town for a 5:30pm Newcastle game?
  18. So basically if your team gets to the PL, you never get to watch them on a Saturday? Er, no thanks.
  19. Surely that defeats the object!? (or at least it would in our case considering what most peoples argument for change is)

Well, yeah, but he did get us a second place finish in his first (part) season, and we did beat Barcelona under him. McClaren had literally no success, other than a good couple of back-to-back wins against Liverpool and Spurs.
  21. How did you get a ticket for Brentford!? ??
  22. Technology will eventually be the answer in one form or another. It’ll take time like, and how you go about linking things up with what’s available at away grounds, especially smaller clubs, I have no idea, but it will happen one day.
  23. Bit of a contentious point that one tbh. Does the son have a right to those points just because his dad has been going for years? Some will say yes, others no.
