  1. Sounds like the kind of place that might appeal to one or two in here.

Aye, using the queue numbers as a yardstick is a bit spurious though as we all log on multiple times. Equally though there’s a lot of people buying multiple tickets. Just seems that the times I have got in right near the front of the queue, there hasn’t seemed to be anything like 10k available. As I say though, always seems to be something that’s never quite known for sure.
  3. Really nice little summary here. Spot on in many aspects (especially in relation to Pope): https://twitter.com/stevennufc/status/1611291694095339521?s=46&t=h3uPz8HUk3s57JyLy_I5SA

I think if you compare this to the Fulham, where there were still a few tickets available a week after they went on sale, it probably shows what a difference ko time makes. Sat 5:30pm is great for loads of people. Sunday 2pm, not so much.

That would seem low. Even taking out away fans and corporate numbers, it really doesn’t feel like there’s 10k+ tickets go on sale every game? Difficult to quantify though and I’ve never read or heard anything on it coming from a place of authority.
  6. Yeah. As @HaydnNUFCsaid somewhere it looks like they’ve only got two blocks. Understandable to a point. Not a great feeling round the club at the minute. Midweek. Early January. Reasonable-length travel (compared to most other places for them anyway). Been here numerous times in recent years.
  7. Also didn’t realise that Chelsea play Fulham next Thursday, which is actually quite handy as gives Fulham a bit less prep time before playing us on the Sunday.
  8. Have to remember that at the Testimonial everyone was given a free scarf. Hopefully it’ll still be really good visually on Tuesday, but you never really going to match the scenes of that night unless you dish out freebies again.
  9. Yeah, but I think there might be the possibility of another block or two being released depending on what Leicester sell. Also some hospitality left.
  10. They’ve both probably lost a bit of value since the summer. Still, if they were to sell either this month they’d probably get a decent fee. More than enough to pay up Frank’s contract and get Dyche in anyway.
  11. Tbh I’m sure the people sat in between them wouldn’t mind budging up one if you ask them when you get there
  12. Tickets on general sale this morning 10am
  13. No, nor would he be suspended for the Leicester match. Would be Fulham. Same with Trippier.
  14. Yeah, from the NW corner onwards. Probably another 4-5k still to be released
  15. Might mean we put an extra block on sale at some point.
  16. Today, yes. Remaining go on general sale tomorrow
  17. Maybe not quite that bad, but you’re absolutely right in principal. Demand being like it is now won’t last for ever, it’s great and all, but with (hopefully!) future success will inevitably come a degree complacency amongst the fan base over what excites them and gets them wanting to attend. That’s not a dig, just a reflection of football fan support and human nature.
  18. According to their forum they haven’t even sold 1000 yet, so certainly won’t have taken the additional ones they had the chance of.
  19. He played the day after posting that. Wasn’t in the squad yesterday mind.

You would think any new safe standing section would be the catalyst for this. Will undoubtedly be hell on when it’s introduction means people have to move, but a discount on their ST’s for a year or two, or something of that ilk, should pacify things to a degree.
  21. Are you not getting Holt mixed up with Hope? https://thisisfutbol.com/2023/01/blogs/premier-league/newcastle-united-craig-hope-alexander-isak-injury-setback-transfer-nufc-magpies-eddie-howe-callum-wilson/ *spoiler - the headline is absolute bollocks…
