    Lewis Hall

Probably just saved Bohely from having to buy the car park at Stamford Bridge.
  2. Given the circumstances, if we manage to finish 6th (or above), he’s performed as well as last season for me.
  3. Having 5 grand on him to get booked at Palace now he’s off the leash 😂
  4. As Howe has said, this is the problem when you have so many injuries, you end up playing players who are ‘fit’ but could probably do with a bit longer to be on the safe side. Then because you’re having to do it all the time, it eventually comes back to bite you. The alternative being more minutes for the likes of Richie and Dummett, which everyone goes mad about.
  5. Well, I suppose that quote you put up could be true, and we do have some kind of portion of their sell-on clause, but it’s sounds like any sell-on they do have is fairly small, and therefore ours even smaller, so probably makes it insignificant.

  7. Nah, the Peterborough chairman pretty much rubbished the sell on clause claim.
  8. So the DD payment scheme will be Jun - Jan next season?
  9. Howe sounded quite downbeat about Targett’s injury today. Sounds like there’s a good chance that’s him for the season.

    St James' Park

Given the absolute shitshow that unfolded in January, even KLD and those in charge of the “project”, who’ve shown they’ll prioritise a few quid over most things, would draw the line at that given the inevitable monumental backlash. That’s before you consider every poor result we had there would result in the place being smashed up to some degree. If we had to move temporarily surely we’d just knock up a Qatar-style temporary stadium? Anywhere localish with space would do as location is way less significant if it’s only temporary.
  11. Other two were Brighton and Chelsea weren’t they?
  12. Some ammunition for all the Leeds haterz…. 😂 https://x.com/kieranmaguire/status/1778182432942137616?s=46&t=OQLMckSuatbpqWF13Al4mQ @Wallsendmag @Optimistic Nut @TheBrownBottle
  13. So are you saying he’s due a retrospective gambling ban? Cos we’ve had quite enough of them…
  14. Tbf, they’ve been made to look good by the fact they’ve frequently been negotiating with an idiot like Bohely. Suppose it did seem like they got a brilliant price for Ben White, but Arsenal will probably think they’ve actually done alright out of it now.

    Sean Longstaff

VAR reviewed that tackle at Everton by Tarkowski that broke his foot, as it was in the box. Not a foul apparently…
  16. Surely Leeds are as much of a ‘proper club’ as Southampton? The issue with Southampton, and the likes of Norwich, is that they’re at the other end of the country, so, understandably, fans find it a right pain in the arse to get up here. Once they’ve been here a couple of times, the hassle overtakes the novelty for many, and if you chuck in an unsociable ko time, you get half full away ends, which contribute to ‘dead’ atmospheres. And obviously it’s also a pain in the arse for us to travel the other way too.
  17. Missed that one so I can’t comment specifically, although I always feel like NYE games are rubbish. Feels like everyone just wants to get them out the way and get to where they need to be. Generally speaking though, you’ll always get a better atmosphere with 3k Leeds there as opposed to 1.5k Southampton/Norwich.
  18. You don’t have to like them in the slightest, quite the opposite really, it’s more an acknowledgement that a game against them will have a bit of edge to it. They’ll always bring a decent following, and as a result the atmosphere will be better. I appreciate you could extrapolate this out to saying ‘well lets just have the mackems promoted then’, but that’s a bit extreme, as there’s obviously far more going on with games against them than just a decent atmosphere. If folk are worried about the atmosphere now, wait until we’ve got Europa League on a Thursday and then subsequently Southampton, Norwich etc at home Sunday 2pm.
  19. We all hate Leeds, but there’s no question that matches with them have a bit more about them, compared to matches with the likes of Southampton. Ipswich will have a novelty factor for a couple of years, but ultimately will end up being as drab as Southampton after a while, but let’s allow them their turn for a bit. So Ipswich and Leeds please. With anybody except Southampton or Norwich from the play offs (preferably Coventry if they can squeeze in).
  20. Don’t think his contractual situation has been fully clarified? Would imagine we’ve probably got some kind of option to extend if it does only run to next year.
  21. Bigger deduction as in they’d just relegate us (probably rightly so tbh).
  22. The disparity in price between ourselves and West Ham (can actually get 33/1 with PP) seems mental, but I suppose reflective of them having played a game more and having Liverpool and Man City to play.

    Anthony Gordon

    Avoided the 10 yellows ban.

    Alexander Isak

Doing that wouldn’t just be 10 points though would it? It would probably be relegation or something. And probably rightly so.
