I take your point about Barnes and Botman, but we only lost one in next 9 after Sheff Utd. Beat Man City, PSG, Man Utd and Arsenal. Would take that again… It was following Dortmund away that things went south, albeit we still managed some notable results (PSG away) but eventually it caught up with us through December.

As well as Hall did last week, and as much as we’ll miss him overall, Tino is the best 1v1 defender we have, so if anyone can shut Salah down…

West Ham. Which was quite an unfortunate page to be picked at random.

Fairly unequivocal backing for Eddie from Eales. And rightly so.

If ever a team was set up for Osula to get subbed at half time…

Queuing up outside that shopping centre to get a train after the match is grim.

Worst away end in the league* *well probably not worse than Palace and Everton in that you’ll be able to see all of the pitch

Ballot dates announced for the April home games. Details in the Ticket forum.

Just watched it again. The exasperation in the “golf, for fuck’s sake” at the end has me buckled 😂

No real idea on the situation at Blyth, but you have to commend that bloke for the way he manages to stay respectful towards the players, whilst still passionately getting point across to them. That kind of thing is far more likely to get people to listen to you than just ranting and raving. What’s his/the issue with the manager and coaching staff @Big Geordie?

Easier said than done if you’re significantly in the minority!

The issue with that was that you didn’t necessarily have to be a member to get a ticket back then, as ST holders could get extra, so plenty just got tickets via that route. Maybe it might have been better to go down that route and those that got their tickets via ST holders would just have had to miss out, but I can understand why they didn’t do this.

This is @Magdad when posting in the final thread.

Which leads to the question, would people rather go back to those running the buses controlling a portion of the away allocation and effectively pushing points thresholds back up, in favour of perceived better atmospheres?

Needed to be two teams not in Europe due to the following midweek being CL/EL
