Just came across this episode of Ben Foster’s podcast with him from June. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/fozcast-the-ben-foster-podcast/id1708270160?i=1000658062802 Obviously prior to him signing for us, so nothing NUFC-related in it, however he speaks incredibly well and comes across as a very good guy. Not hard to see why he’s a good fit for the role we’ve given him. He also speaks, albeit very briefly, about keeper distribution, which I found bizarrely interesting.

Yes, from the results of the clubs survey/questionnaire, it seems it’s ’on the table’ so to speak. Exactly when anything further will get announced relating to it, who knows, but IMO we will eventually get something along these lines, albeit the number of times you’re allowed to use it will probably be very limited.

I interpreted that as saying Eddie isn’t being given enough choice of players because our scouting network isn’t big enough. If there’s a good player in the Romanian league, Eddie will recognise he’s a good player, but not if he’s not presented to him. He can’t be expected to be across every league (obviously), so that’s why our scouting has to be better.

Yeah, but (at least in the opinion of those that chant it) would that be delivering as big a ‘fuck you’ in response to the initial chant? Lets face it, most chanting at football grounds is fairly juvenile and unimaginative, bar the odd exception, it’s rare folk give to much thought to what they come out with.
