Aye, but a bit like the Old Firm (to a lesser extent) at least if it goes tits up you get a chance to put it right fairly quickly. This is it for months on end.

Lost at Burnley, Fulham etc. Tbf, I haven’t seen much of them either, and they do appear to be (some of them anyway) good signings for them. Maybe one or two could end up being good enough for a genuine top 8 team, dunno, but I don’t think you can really compare their transfer business with ours when we’re aiming for different things. Kinda the same with Brighton and Brentford and their strategies really, which are brilliant for them, but not sure they are the right approach for a team genuinely trying to challenge the elite.

So far this season reffing us: P3 W2 D1 L0
-
All very well for them, when their aim is avoiding relegation / mid-table. Are any of those players good enough to challenge the elite teams, which is our aim.
-
Fair enough. Feels like the equivalent of suggesting playing Gordon as CF ahead of Woltemade and Wissa to me like.
-
Ahead of Gordon or Barnes!?
-
Manchester and Liverpool, then depends how you want to classify London.
-
Are they still doing that?

Hell on in the blue pop aisle.

You get 2m for finishing 1-8 and 1m for finishing 9-24. If you win the playoff round you get an additional 1m. If you win the last 16 round you get an additional 11m. On top of all the other stuff obviously.

I’d say we’ve been ‘poor’ twice. West and Brentford. There’s been a fair few average or a bit either way games - off the top of my head - Leeds, Wolves, Fulham, Burnley, Brighton. And obviously some good ones as well. So maybe, overall, average is a fair call, but that seems a long way from your initial assessment.
-
Saying we’ve been shit at everything is just a ridiculously pessimistic/negative take though, surely you can see that?
-
Is 1 win in the last 6 really doing well? Aye, three of them were hard games (I’d still class Liverpool away as that despite everything).
-
Did you mean to post this on a Wolves forum?
-
So about 2k in total for 7 matches from the first group game to the semi, but then £3k for the final alone. Stupidity and greed.
-
Corners weren’t great last night, but hardly useless when when we scored from them in two of the previous three.
-
That is a significant issue… Everyone raves about how good Brentford are on long throws, but if you’ve got someone that can hoy it like Kayode, along with two or three big lads, it doesn’t take too much work. Much like corners, if you’re delivery is a bit shit, you’re going to struggle.

Love the fact he’s still going to watch us away in Europe even though Nick isn’t playing.

Aye, was composed to start with without being threatening, but then it felt like it was running away from us after they scored. Got away with the red card situation (IMO) and managed to wrestle it back a bit after that. Second half, much, much better.
