No question he’s a great player. Although you have laugh at the ridiculousness of Chelsea. I’d say as a minimum they really need to shift about 8 players before the end of the window.
-
Probably part of the reason they’re trying to freeze out the likes of Sterling and Chilwell who are on massive money.
-
Just for clarity, he’s currently on about £300k p/w
-
And one of them is a cup game he may well not have played in anyway.

Imagine it’s referencing the Bobby quote which went something like “it’s not beyond our wildest dreams, because we did have wild dreams” -

There’s a difference between someone saying ‘X has happened’, or ‘X will definitely happen’ and people who just feedback what people feel/think will happen. And tbh it doesn’t take much nous to spot the Billy Bullshitters. Even someone like that NUFCWill or whatever he’s called. It’s fairly obvious he has / has had a contact at some level that’s given him team news and maybe a small number of other titbits, but he’s let it go to his head and gone full on ‘look at me’ and ended up spouting a load of shite.
-
Why? He’s only passing on what he’s been told, and offering his opinion on how things might unfold. If people are upset by this I suggest they endeavour to learn to control their emotions better.

That’s the thing people can’t / don’t want to accept when it comes to transfer stories, mainly reported by journalists. A journo can report that a club is after player X, are confident of securing a deal for player X, all which can be 100% accurate, but if the deal doesn’t end up materialising, the journo is a ‘know nowt fraud’. Think a lot of the time it’s just people needing someone to vent their frustrations at.

He’ll have win PL Player of the Year to get 65 for him with one year left.

Sound like the kind of bloke that wins a million pound on the lottery and complains it was two million last week.

Can’t wait for Eddie to update us with absolutely fuck all in his presser this morning.

“Equally” is probably (well almost certainly) an exaggeration, but it is worth remembering he is only going to improve.
-
Shown very little resembling his pre-injury form since returning. And probably on a canny whack.
